I Passed!
Omg I still can’t believe it! I wrote the CISSP this morning and I provisionally PASSED! I’m still pinching myself!!! My weakest link was my confidence. I should’ve tried sooner! So all I would say to any of you is to GO FOR IT! I plan to continue on with the group ;)

I am so sorry for keeping you all waiting - What were my resources? ISC2 Nineth Edition - I used it like a reference to look up areas I was weak in - was too dry to read cover to cover. You need to understand concepts, memorize models, i.e. Bell Lapadula. You need to understand business continuity, plans, recovery plans you need to know and understand cryptology; there is a lot of common sense with the exam hence why they say think like a manager. It’s important to know your Domains - Great resource- Destination CISSP, Think like a manager, The 11th hour. For preparation - I went through ISC2 Domain Questions - I did all the practice questions. ISC2 Practice Tests - 3rd Edition Great resource to prepare for exam. I accessed both through online test bank Wiley. Lastly - I gave myself 3 weeks - and booked exam so I had a goal. What’s my background? 20+ years in Telecommunications - VOIP + Security. I went back to school to upgrade my skills - for Cyber Security. 5 years in Cyber Security - 2.5yrs in Cyber SOC supporting our Military (development/verification in Cyber) - 2.5yrs Identity Access Management & Governance - Security Operations - Have the following Certifications ITILv4, CASP+, CySA, SEC+, Net+, A+, CCNA, Azure Fundamentals, Splunk Fundamentals 1 & 2. Tip - Very important to READ the question and understand it. Wishing you all great success!

@Vincent Primiani my current hat is in Identity Credential & Access Management! I also manage Student Recruitment for Future IT Security Professionals! I have 20+ years Telecom + IT Security. I am hoping to secure the CISSP Certification - hearing it’s a tough one!
From the worlds largest cybersecurity conference
I recently attended RSA, the world's largest cybersecurity conference, where I had the pleasure of meeting numerous CISSP professionals. One kind individual, who had previously helped develop official exam questions, generously shared his notes with me. I'm happy to pass them along, hoping you find them helpful in your own CISSP journey!
