It is my dream school and really need some counseling from someone who has some sort of experience regarding MIT application or admission. Please let me know.
@Finance Main yea no i didnt include anything here because this post was for me to find someone who would sit with me one on one and discuss tweaks or give me tips for the application procedure. Moreover the question “Can I get into MIT?” was not directed in a personal way, rather I was basically asking for reassurance whether it is realistic.
@Syeda Zainab Fatima thank you for your advice. I just had a few questions, like how do I stop thinking about MIT? Do I stop thinking that I need to get into MIT or, how hard it is to get into it, etc? You also mentioned by taking an extract from a book saying to think more about the process. Do you mean I should put more time into planning out my application procedure rather than worrying about whether I get in or not? Lastly, “problem solver in STEM” I didn’t quite understand what that means so if you could elaborate it would be great. Adding on to this you said to observe whether my values and work ethic aligns with that of MIT or not. Me too in search of this question had posted this blog so I could talk to someone one on one if possible, and give them an insight on me as a person. In return they would tell me if I am a worthy candidate or not or would help me shape my essays in a way I would be able to emphasize on such criteria.
