Here goes nothing
Just applied to Y Combinator; statistically, chances are 1%. No matter what happens, I am happy because I left it all on the court.

Where to start fundraising for your company??
Are you starting a company and thinking about getting venture capital? Last year was a down year, of course, with Silicon Valley Bank, Signature and First Republic all failing. VCs kept their powder dry. But you can see from the chart below that 2021 and 2022 had been frothy. Should you start seeking outside capital? Do you know what questions to ask yourself, so that you can retain ownership and control of your company and make your vision a reality? Is there non-dilutive capital available instead? 👇 COMMENT BELOW what your biggest concern is about raising outside capital for your young company, and take the poll on your current funding status:

@Howard Freeman the "time" aspect makes a lot more sense when it's said out loud now. right now my cofounders are gung ho and are already talking about visas and working on study abroad programs 🤣 they believe it'll work hella more than me so it pushed me to make it work. I think the biggest concern has always been feeling like the VC or Donors or Grants etc would feel like a leash. Which I know isn't entirely true but it's just that feeling of knowing how it is in some tech areas to have that stress point. I do know there is the other side of it where it all goes well and everyone is happy and it all works. Don't get me wrong 🤣 I just think I want to make the business more accountable to myself and not because some investor put money in..... if that makes sense.
