Helpful project management tool
One online tool that I've found to be really helpful is Pacemaker Planner (pacemaker.press). You can have up to two plans on the free level, which is plenty for me right now. I really love being able to set a time-based goal, track how much I write each day (the daily writing streak is really motivating!), and use the calendar view to monitor my progress and how far I have left to go. If you're a planner like I am or appreciate visual data to help keep you on track with a big project like writing or editing, this might be a tool worth checking out. They do have paid levels for even more features, but their free tier is quite robust. If you do check it out, please report back and let me know what you think!

I can attest! This tool has totally changed the way I approach my work. It makes the project less intimidating because it breaks it down into a logical series of steps that I feel I can actually tackle in an objective way. Thanks @Elissa Graeser
Artificial Intelligence can help with Marketing.
I know that Julie often talks about the power of AI, so I decided to create a 6-question survey that I plan to direct toward my potential audience on social media. Just to see what would happen, I logged into my free Merlin account. I then set the AI to Claude Sonnet 3. I asked it to give me 6 questions I could ask that were associated with potential problems with weight loss. It actually worked. It was so good that I plan on using it for a survey on a social media site; I don't need to edit it much. I mention this to point out that AI is so good nowadays that you need to make sure to leverage it in your business practices, so get over to Merlin and create a free account right now. Merlin will allow you to select a number of different AI models for free. The best models will use the most credits; Claude Sonnet 3 used 10 credits, but you'll get 102 credits to start, and they renew back to 102 every day on the free account! Give it a try.

This was an excellent use of AI!
Looking forward to working with you in the future.
Hello Everyone, I just signed up on the Skool site. I follow Julie YT videos religiously. I do plan on getting help with launching my book. There's just too much to get right, and I don't have enough time to do it all myself; so you will definitely be hearing more from me. -Thanks

Welcome Craig! We're glad to have you!
A word about the dirty draft, from Anne Lamott.
"Almost all good writing begins with terrible first efforts. You need to start somewhere. Start by getting something -- anything -- down on paper. A friend of mine says that the first draft is the down draft -- you just get it down. The second draft is the up draft -- you fix it up. You try to say what you have to say more accurately. And the third draft is the dental draft, where you check every tooth, to see if it's loose or cramped or decayed, or even, God help us, healthy." - Anne Lamott

A quote on writing that I love
“A work-in-progress generates its own energy field. You, the artist or entrepreneur, are pouring love into the work; you are suffusing it with passion and intention and hope.”― Steven Pressfield, Do the Work The more you engage with your book — even if it's just a minute of writing — the more energy it will generate. It's a self-propelling machine.
