Software for personalization
I realize I can program a file with customer names and messages where I simply type them in with the Text tool and run the job to get a customer's name added to the part I am cutting, but if I am selling a batch of 20 products cut from one board with the product tiled, I am curious what software would allow me to dynamically add the customer message (name, initials, or message) into the job so that when the 20 products are cut, it is personalized with the variables for each customer on each of the products in the one board. Again, I realize I can copy and paste or type each customer's details into the software one at a time, but that not only takes time, but presents possibilities for typos. I have seen tutorials for LightBurn where I can import a csv with customer data and achieve the result I am looking for - but I "think" lightburn is just for laser, not cutting wood with bits - anyone have any thoughts on this?

I’m Eric Lingenfelter from Lynchburg, VA. I’ve owned my own business for 24 years in the online technology integration area building systems and massive marketing funnels for large brands (that made my clients very successful!). I’ve been a woodworking hobbyist for 12+ years when I had time, and I’m ready for a major transition in my career - the online tech world has burned me out... I have built various types of custom furniture, full kitchen cabinets (including installation), custom closets, bathroom vanities, live edge slab desks and tables, mobile garage storage cabinets, and more. I ordered my first CNC 2 days ago, a Shapeoko 5 Pro with the 65mm spindle, and I’m anxiously awaiting its arrival. With my experience working with brands to make “them” a ton of money, I plan to finally do the same for “me and my family”. Once I get this new machine, I plan to make a bunch of prototypes as I learn the ropes, then launch marketing campaigns to sell personalized gifts made in my shop for all the major holidays, weddings, new babies on the way, birthdays, Valentines, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, anniversaries, employee acknowledgements, etc.

I have spent the last 25 years bridging the gap between marketing and technology for my clients by building tools that make technical processes easy!
