Module 12: Inspiration, our FINAL module is LIVE πŸ’–πŸ₯°πŸŽ‰πŸ«Ά
Hi Mamas! I post this with bittersweet feelings since it is our last module! I won't lie, I shed a few tears when I got off of the last 1:1 call today. Honestly, you all mean so much to me! I don't take lightly that you all have chosen to me to guide and support your on your journey. You nourish my soul in ways that I couldn't have imagined! I'm SO grateful for you all! You've all come so far and I'm so, so proud of you. And, YOU should be proud of yourselves!! You rock!! I want to leave you with this (even though it is in the PDF and video- it's worth repeating πŸ₯°): πŸ’– YOU, Mama are AMAZING πŸ’– YOU are worthy of EVERYTHING your heart desires, especially love, kindness, respect, and abundance πŸ’– YOU are IMPORTANT πŸ’– YOU MATTER to SO many people πŸ’– YOU CAN do HARD, seemingly IMPOSSIBLE THINGS πŸ’– YOU are LOVED πŸ’– YOU will always have a COMMUNITY of SISTERS at THRIVE MAMA TRIBE Keep an eye out in your email later this week for a little surprise πŸ₯°πŸ«Άβœ¨πŸ™

β€’My milk supply had started to tank at the beginning of the week. I did all kinds of things to get it back to my normal, and today it feels like it has leveled out! β€’I have cooked almost every day this week, which feels huge after being stuck in survival mode for so long.
Win the Week- Accountability 😊
Hi Mamas, I mentioned several times we'd be doing this. I've given you some time to get your momentum flowing and get into the groove of setting intentions and dialing in your diet. Now we're going to hit the ground running. Please write your answers in the comments and I'll be checking in on you throughout the week to support you and help you maintain accountability. I'll go first in the comments. πŸ’ž - What were the 3 wins from last week? - What did you learn about yourself or your business last week? - Where are you stuck? - What is your 1 BIG outcome you would like to see accomplished this week? - What tasks must you complete to accomplish that outcome? - How will you celebrate when you hit that goal? - And if you don't do the required tasks, how will you restore your integrity?

- What were the 3 wins from last week? I followed through with my gratitude journal, made huge progress in getting my home to a more stable and organized place to start the school year, and spent a bit more focused time on the kids each day. - What did you learn about yourself or your business last week? I really struggle to decide that I want to do something that I know will be good for me, but once the decision is made, I am all in and it feels much easier mentally than the back and forth in my brain about why I shouldn't do the thing. In this case, it was starting the whole30. - Where are you stuck? I'm running into the issue I always do when I try to do a whole30. I haven't figured out a good prep rhythm and so I don't have anything to grab and tend to not eat. This doesn't work well ever, but especially while nursing! - What is your 1 BIG outcome you would like to see accomplished this week? I really want to wrap up my house organizing. We live in a small house and so far, I've laid eyes or hands on just about every item in the basement and first floor. I feel SO much better with things having a home and I'm able to quickly tell the kids where things are, but I need to get our bedrooms done so we don't all lose our minds looking for the things they want or need for school! - What tasks must you complete to accomplish that outcome? Put away the laundry and literal piles of clothes in everyone's bedrooms. The laundry is ever present here. Sort through the girls' clothes to decide what fits and what doesn't. "Minimize" their extra things in their room. Maybe find a storage situation for said extra things. - How will you celebrate when you hit that goal? Have a cup of tea on the couch alone after everyone is in bed and bask in my success of having a home that actually works for our family. - And if you don't do the required tasks, how will you restore your integrity? Give myself so much grace in knowing that we are in the final two weeks of summer and I will have time to do all of this in September if I don't accomplish it now.

Thank you!! I meant to ask on the call about Whole Foods vs whole30 and your thoughts on grains. I mentioned that I made lactation cookies (full of organic, gf oats) and obviously that isn't whole30. Should grains be an occasional thing or does it count as a whole food in this case?
Welcome to the Village! ***Read First***
We want to get to know you, so please tell us about yourself my answering the following questions. 1. Who are you, where are you from, and if you work- what do you do? Drop a photo too if you'd like! 2. What are your biggest wants and desires from this community? 3. What do you do for fun? 4. Fun or interesting fact about yourself? I'll go first 😊 1. I'm Stephanie Davis and I live in Colorado, just north of Colorado Springs in a town that sits at 7,500 feet above sea level (we get some crazy weather patterns here). I've been many things professionally: a microbiologist (5 years) -> then Functional Medicine Practitioner (17 years) and Medical and Research Consultant (7 years)-> and about 4 years ago I started doing many energetic, emotional and trauma courses and certifications. My favorite thing is being a mama to my precious kiddos (who are currently almost 6 and 10.5). 2. My desire for this community is for it to be the VILLAGE WE ALL WANT AND NEED. The phrase "it takes a village" originates from an African Proverb and conveys the message that it takes many people- an entire extended support system- to raise children and for everyone to thrive and flourish. This is our village!!! 3. My favorite thing to do for fun and relaxation is to get into the mountains. One of my favorite phrases is, "the mountains are calling and I must answer." That is truly my happy place (or snuggling my kiddos). 4. Fun fact: I have deep family roots in the political scene here is the U.S. Maternally I'm distantly related to the Kennedy's but paternally I am a direct descendant of Aaron Burr (yes, the guy who shot Alexander Hamilton is literally on my family tree).

Hi everyone! I'm Emily Meneghini. I live in Lancaster, PA. I'm a stay at home mom of three girls (8, 5, and 8 months) and I'm a birth doula on the side. I'm truly looking forward to growing and thriving through what I learn in this group. I've been trying to figure out how I have fun since @Stephanie Davis posted these questions almost three weeks ago, and I've still got nothing, so maybe I should work on that in these next couple of months. Hah! I'm attaching a photo of our family from a couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to getting started!
