Types of Guests
Whether you’re new to hosting a short-term rental 🏡 or have been doing it for years, you’ll quickly notice there are a few types of guests who will always show up. Some are easy-going and a joy to host 😄, while others… well, let’s just say they can turn your hosting experience into a challenge 😬. In this video, I’ll walk you through the 5 most common types of guests you’ll receive and share tips on how to manage them smoothly ✨. We’ll cover everything from tourists 🌍 and corporate bookings 💼 to the more problematic guests like party-seekers 🎉 and the infamous “Karens” 🙄.

@Ray Kim very often hahaha. Having the right relationship with different tradesman, it's crucial. One thing worth mention is that the majority of the flats are in one city, i pay a monthly fee to a handyman for any call out that i need. It can get way cheaper and gives a piece of mind if there's any unexpected thing

When you give enough jobs to the handyman or any tradesman and they are starting their companies, they are open to build relationships with clients that can potentially give them more jobs. A monthly fee it’s a recurring revenue for their business regardless I need them during the month or not. It allows me to have peace of mind knowing that if there’s a leak at the listings, touch ups of paint, assembly of new furniture, etc. my monthly fee covers call-outs and minimum labour cost.
