My Wishing Stone
I wanted to share this cool rock I found on the beach. I read that it is commonly referred to as a wishing stone which is a dull rock with a white line that wraps around it. As the name implies it is believed that such a stone can be used to make wishes on. Well I found one that I thought was quite unique looking. It’s more common and preferred if the stone has one band going around. This one however is odd as it has lines that seem to form a five pointed star on one side and a number 4 on the other one. How weird is that? Anyways just wanted to share my favorite discovery with all of you! Curious to hear your thoughts! Thanks!

Dream Drawing
This digital drawing I did was inspired by a dream I had last night. I called him Criss-Cross in my dreams. Not sure of the meaning but thought it was cool looking to recreate.

Grad School Thesis
Good morning. I am beginning to work on a thesis for art grad school. I am excited but also nervous as I am more of a creative type than an analytical type of thinker. Here is my topic so far or the theme at least which is, “how and why illustration of animals increases empathy towards other animals and people and how does having a difficult childhood help deepen a kinship with animals and promote creativity and change.” Something like that anyways. Still trying to word it all in an organized statement. If you have any suggestions of books, articles, or other resources for research to look at or any advice on how to work this out it would be a great help. Anyways hope you all have a great day! Thank you!

Question Inspired By A Dream
So here is a question to think about: What differs a curved or spiral line (geometrically) from a snake (physical animal)? If someone is trying to decide on whether to compare me to either a curve line or a snake, is that like a trick question? This is inspired by a dream I had once where I was lost in an airport trying to go home and a psychic was being unhelpful when I asked her for help. This was what she said to me! I am still trying to figure out if you are a snake or a curved line! Like what does that even mean? It’s been making me scratch my head for years now!

@Grace Rivas that does make so much more sense. I think what left me confused was a snake can take on the shape of a curved line or spiral line and by comparing both it’s like asking is this a circle or an Orange or is this a triangle or a slice of pizza. You see what I mean? It’s a shape of the item it’s being compared too, but what would be the significance of a shape vs life or form I guess and why particularly a snake why not a crescent moon that is a curved line. But I like your explanation.

I am an artist who loves animals, especially horses and dogs. I love to draw and paint them as much as I enjoy being around them!
