How do upc barcodes work. Do I have to buy them or can I just get them from amazon?

Does your amazon seller account name matter. I dont sell any products currently, but im going to launch a product soon. I have a trademark pending and the seller account has a different name. Should I setup a new seller account or is it possible to launch a listing with the trademark name and then apply for brand registery. Does the seller account name need to match the trademark name?

Have any of yall used super urls lately. I was told that amazon can detect them. Are they still safe to use?

Thinking of launching a product in the kitchen category. There is one product that has a ton of reviews and has been there for years. The design is in my opinion ugly. There are tons of people doing 10k-40k/month in revenue with less than 40 reviews. I think I could make the design more practical. Search volume, average revenue, BSR and ppc bid all checks out. The problem is the two sellers, one with 800 reviews and the big one with 54k. Both of their designs are not great looking and thats the reason other people are seeing success with just better looking designs. My design is good looking and a little more practical. Should I launch this?
