PRODUCTIVITY is key. I 've learned form experience that the most productive way to build an editorial plan and work in batches. Block a period of time am write. And write. And write. In the next time block create posts and schedule them. Therefore I strongly believe that Post Scheduling would dramatically increase our productivity in Skool.

Not looking like it's something Skool is prioritizing. However, you can still achieve it: https://www.skool.com/community/scheduling-posts-ec16ba83?p=7b7358df

Looks like only 1 change is allowed https://help.skool.com/article/121-how-to-change-my-group-url

If we receive a lot of notifications, it's tempting to turn off notifications for "likes", but it's fun to seeing who is interacting with your comments. I see that @Marvin Aziz mentioned this in a prior post: https://www.skool.com/community/filter-notifications but don't see any resolutions or workarounds. (and nothing related in Help Center) Example below 👇

Skool going mainstream
Hey guys, don't know if anyone watches UFC, but I was really surprised that the current (interim) heavyweight champion of the world has a Skool community 1m Insta Followers 263k YouTube subscribers 💪 But the biggest testament to his stardom is that you can find him through GIFs 😁 Shoutout to Tom Aspinall https://www.skool.com/theaspinallway/about Testament to the Skool's quality and potential

Skool going mainstream

It's a smart move by @Tom Aspinall 🌟 If you have distribution, you should funnel your most engaged followers/subscribers/users into a community. Owning your distribution channel is super important. It'll help reinforce your marketing flywheel and help lessen dependency on platforms like YouTube, Twitter, etc. that have notoriously frequent algorithm changes. 📈
Why it feels like a self-defeating process for visionaries with big goals to build on skool
I am excited for the future of skool and I desperately want it to succeed. I love skool and you guys, but this platform is becoming very limiting. Customization is limited: - I can only change my URL once - I can't use my own domain - I have no sense of ownership over MY community I understand the UI model of keeping it simple for first time users to join the platform and learn it quickly, and you also want the name "skool" to have broader distribution, but the main thing that turns people away from skool is lack of branding ownership of their OWN community. Is there a timeline for this? Another premium version of skool that allows this coming out? It almost feels like a self defeating process to build on this platform for people who have a massive vision and goals for their brand and community. Skool turns away the visionaries that could make this product go even more viral by not including these simple things. Please strongly consider this.

Yeah, there's a bit of platform dependency/risk. I do agree that a slightly more "branded" About page could be useful. I'd consider a newsletter (you always own your audience) and what about using domain masking for you domain name? It's a technique that can make it appear as if someone is on your domain (or a subdomain), but it's somewhat superficial because ultimately users will login to Skool.

@Neil McDevitt Masking is super easy to apply (a few SEO tradeoffs, but could be worth a shot). Depending on your registrar, it takes 5 min.
