This was an interesting lesson for sure. I have a consulting business, I work 1-2 hrs a day and make 125k/year. I'm doing a course over the summer, filming in September. I don't see myself stopping consulting as it doesn't take a lot of time, but am definitely going to create a Skool community of my own. Hence, I'm straddling the line. My future students will want to see that I make $$ doing what I teach, so I'll give an update once the course launches.

@Boniface G- Michael Oh absolutely! I have to show and prove to my future students. No inflated claims, promises or passiveness about it. I put in 2.5 hours this morning, now I'm about to go get on the grill! See attached profit/loss statement, fresh from this month. I've also managed to do this while on a 26 day long vacation. That's freedom to me.

My morning routine would only be 2 days/week at the gym for an intense weights workout lasting 90 minutes total. The other days would be 30 minutes of cardio in the morning at home, no commute to gym. The cardio really unclogs my mind and lets work move a lot faster. I used to do 3 hrs 4-5 days a week, until I saw this video! One of my faves....

@Christopher Wood My morning routine starts at night, sleep at 9:30-10pm. I pick 2-3 tasks that have to get done when I wake up before I read emails or answer phone calls. This time blocking for action items really sets up my day. I never have a list that has more than 3-5 items on it, just complete the tasks in order to add more to your list.

I loved the Speed is King value as it's one of mine! My company is called Permits In No Time......so we always have to deliver on speed and efficiency. I say "we", but it's just me : ). I'm hoping to change that with all these great business lessons. I definitely want to foster a great work environment, I never liked rules, so I'm adopting this value driven approach.
