Vietnam Restaurant Week
Hello all. Just thought I would mention that this week/month is Vietnam Restaurant Week. I can't get too much info but thought I would mention it. It is in Da Nang HCMC and Hanoi. Good luck. https://danangfantasticity.com/tin-tuc/diningcity-asia-mo-rong-su-kien-tuan-le-nha-hang-restaurant-week-den-viet-nam.html

Best Sports bars in DN
Big weekend of sport coming up. My two favorite bars to watch live sports are: Scallywags https://maps.app.goo.gl/jQks9wMUC1PM9tHf7 Dirty Fingers https://maps.app.goo.gl/NaPfFSMgth5kueBv9 Good atmosphere, good food, cheap beer at both.

Hidden Gems in Northern Vietnam
Sapa, Ha Giang, and Ha Long Bay are three really popular tourist areas that have been highly damaged by the recent typhoon that hit Northern Vietnam. Although I’m sure these areas will bounce back quickly this is an opportunity to consider some other equally amazing but less touristy areas in the north of Vietnam. Mu Cang Chai - possibly the most stunning rice terraces in the country. Pu Luong - Rice terraces and amazing small village vibe. Ta Xua - Epic panoramic mountain views. All three areas are developed with plenty of comfortable options to stay ranging from Local Homestays to Luxury hotels. Much less tourism and a more authentic Vietnamese experience. These places are great for more adventurous travel and hiking but can also be a great place to relax and chill out for a few days. I'm considering doing a deep dive on more "off the beaten path" places in Vietnam so let me know if that's something you'd be interested in!

9/19 Weather update in Da Nang
Sunny and clear in Da Nang right now after heavy rain all day yesterday. They are still forecasting some rain this afternoon but it looks like the storm will stay North of DN for now.
