Meet-Up Nov. 14th
*MEET UP LOCATION* - BaLi Quan - Hai Coi - 7pm https://maps.app.goo.gl/LjxjJFHc3jYobyyJ8 We've got quite a few members in the group based in Da Nang now. I think its time we met up for Dinner and Drinks! I'm thinking 7pm Thursday night but also open to Friday night if that's better for the most people. We will Đi Nhįŗu (Vietnamese style casual eating and drinking) nothing fancy. I have two places in mind, one for chicken wings and beer another for seafood and beer. Have a vote and let me know if Thurs or Friday better for everyone.

Either night is good for me. But I think Thursday would be better as it won't be as busy. I'm for the chicken mainly because I've had fish a couple times and I pick out bone after bone after bone. But if we do fish I'm sure they got something else šŸ™‚
Moving to Vietnam
Are you planning on living in Vietnam long-term but worried about navigating the process on your own? Iā€™ve made a COMPLETE guide to moving to Da Nang with all the information you need to get settled in as quickly as possible with no inconveniences. Iā€™ve put everything Iā€™ve learned after more than 5 years living in Vietnam into this guide and I really think it will be helpful for a lot of people. This is the most detailed guide Iā€™ve ever put together. Using my recommendations for finding an apartment, renting a motorbike, visa run agents, etc. is going to save you time and money. We will cover: āœ…Intro to Vietnam (Regions, weather, language, currency, food) āœ…Intro to Da Nang (Weather, Neighborhoods) āœ…How to do a Visa run āœ…Renting an apartment āœ…Renting or Buying a Motorbike āœ…Insurance/Medical/Dental āœ…Bank accounts āœ…Sim cards āœ…Shopping/Groceries āœ…+Bonus Custom Google maps with Local Recommendations āž”ļøFor this weekend, the price of the guide will be the cheapest it will ever be. I want everyone that has been in the group a while a chance to get the complete guide for the best deal. After this weekend the price will go up. You can find the guide in the "Classroom" tab at the top of the pageā¬†ļø Iā€™m excited to hear your feedback!

@Travis Carrasquillo no. I don't go back till the 24th. I'm staying at the Galaxy right now and my last week will be at the monarch Hotel. I would like to meet up before I leave though.

@David Walpole I'm not much for just doing something. But I've done enough homework to know that I'll be back
Hoi An Tailor and Custom Shoes
I recently had a suit, women's dress, and custom leather boots made in Hoi An. This is the most famous town in Vietnam for custom clothing. Suit: 4.5 million ($175 USD) - Blazer, pants, shirt Dress: 3 million ($120 USD) - custom design and material Ba Ri Tailor - https://maps.app.goo.gl/72fkUS999tqn2Sek6 Dress boots: 2.9 million ($115 USD) I Love Fashion https://maps.app.goo.gl/zQUMnx6rW1bBp8aC6 The shoes I though were a bit expensive, but overall very happy with the service and quality of everything. I'll attach the full video in case you haven't seen it.ā¬‡ļø

I'm here right now, I've been here for 3 days. I bought a great backpack and four hats for 20 bucks. I'm very happy with my purchases. I tried to get some sweatpants made but nobody has the right material. šŸ˜© Back to Costco next month. šŸ˜€ PS. You mean to tell me that you didn't ask your girlfriend, or double check with your girlfriend, how the suit pattern looked before you made that choice? šŸ™‚

@Travis Carrasquillo of course I do. But then again I was born in the '50s. šŸ™‚ Have a great weekend in Hanoi.
