I'm David. I live in Northern VA. I have been long term investing for over 5 years, have swing traded intermittently, and just getting started with day trading (studied for the past 2-3 months now, just got started with paper trading last week). I want to get these 3 things out of this community: 1. Strategies for executing effective and cash positive swing trading 2. Strategies and advice for consistency in my trading; effective risk management to achieve this goal 3. Comradery (we're all in this struggle together!) For fun, I like to: 1. Outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking) 2. Watch football, basketball, hockey 3. Travel 4. Gamble at the casinos The reason I trade is to achieve lifelong independence from the current grind. I'd like to have the flexibility to wake up and chart my own destiny, without being beholden to anyone, and have the freedom to do all the above fun activities at my own leisure.
