Hi! I'm David. I'm currently working on a distributed execution environment and specialized shell for expressing complex inter-command relationships (similar to streams and pipes, but with more complex relationships). It's being prototyped with Go and Kubernetes. I'm also always working on my hipster RISC-V CPU, which I've made very little progress on and learned a ton. Very fun. I'm most proud of my children, aged 3 and 7. My son is obsessed with fans, wheels and electricity, while my daughter has *become* Taylor Swift. They like me, which nets them a ton of points. I plan to network while here. I know there are people that are smarter than me, because that *can't* be very hard. I will absorb their knowledge in a non-destructive manner. I will also ooze knowledge, and it is my hope that nobody slips in it. This process can be lubricated with ENGAGMENT! Yes. I'm excited to get in the middle of some projects and push things along. I'm only occasionally a visionary when the right mixture of things happen, and all of the other times I'm just happy to be here and help. I can do things like structure projects, organize software lifecycle, orchestrate effective releases, unstick hard problems, and occasionally remove complexity. I'm hoping to meet some talented developers with cool ideas, and get in touch with Those That Move Things. You never know who that's going to be.
