How to find VIRAL content ideas?
Iโ€™ve posted dozens of videos which have generated either 6 figure or 7 figures views by following these two key principles. 1 - Trend stacking: Instead of creating a video just on one topic, collide two trending topics together to appeal to a much wider audience. For example, I just posted a video on Jordan Peterson & Elon Musk which lead to nearly half a million views. This helps draw views from audiences of two of the most popular and influential people on the plant. 2 - Check out large media channels for out performers. If, for example, you go onto CNBC or Piers Morganโ€™s channel, two media outlets that cover a wide range of topics, you can check to see which videos are far outperforming the rest. Doing this you can see which topics people are CURRENTLY extra interested in, likely leading to increased views.

YouTube Thumbnails and Titles
I have a quick question concerning YouTube self-A/B testing. When do you decide to change a thumbnail or title if the video doesn't perform as expected?

If you feel/ the data suggests your video is underperforming, hereโ€™s a 3 steps process on changing titles/ thumbnails. 1- Change the title, make sure itโ€™s something clickable but still relevant to the video. If a video is getting lots of views, you should notice an impact quickly. If low views, it will take longer to see any impact. 2 -If you donโ€™t see a positive change, you might not have found the right title yet. Try 2-3 more titles, if no impact/ positive impact, time to change thumbnail. 3 Try a new thumbnail and repeat process of changing titles. Notes - A drastic title change might require YT to find a new audience for the video, you need to be more patient for this to play out. - You want to balance CTR improvements with AVD. Higher CTR but tanking AVD is not the best outcome. - CTR is important but views is the most important metric, Iโ€™d rather a lower CTR with higher views. Drop any questions in the comments below!

YouTube Script Writing Process
Hi everyone, I am learning how to do effective script writing for my YouTube channel. Does anyone have tips on how to keep retention high without doing too much editing? I'd like the storytelling and messaging to be the core value in the video. I'm a few hours into this particular script I am working on, and it seems as though the script is the most tedious part of the video creation process.

Hey! Scripts are often the most important part of a video! The content of the box (the script of a video) is more important than the box (the editing) Hereโ€™s a few things that can help 1 - Research the โ€˜heroesโ€™ journey, people enjoy watching the underdog struggle and then come out on top, something to consider 2 - try โ€˜re-hookingโ€™ your audience throughout the video. โ€œIf you think that was interesting, wait for what Iโ€™m about to show you next" 3 - generate a big payoff at the end of the video. For example, gameshows often have good retention as you want to see if the contestant wins at the end. give the audience a reason to watch until the end, this will help with retention good luck!
Welcome to The YouTube Lab!
Iโ€™ve helped dozens of creators scale their YouTube channel on a 1-1 basis, so thought it was time to go mass scale and see how many people I can help!

Want to get more views on YouTube?
Make sure you do these 3 things when creating an intro for an educational YouTube video: Proof - Prove that you are a reliable source for the information you are giving. (Iโ€™m an Entrepreneur and have started and sold 3 million $ companies) Promise - Let the viewer know what they will find out in the video. (in this video Iโ€™m going to explain to you how to start a business you can scale to $1M ) Plan - How are you going to execute on the promise (Iโ€™m going to do this by taking you through my 7 step process) These can come in any order, prioritise whichever one is most important to your audience to come first. If you do this, you will successfully communicate to the audience what value you will provide them & why they should listen to you.
