December Challenge!
What's up, dudes?! I want to do a personal challenge in December to get off social media for the month, except for this Skool Community, and focus on family, advent, prayer, and personal growth and reflection. I want to invite y'all into this, as well.⚡ I'm still planning out the details, but essentially it would be deleting Instagram, Facebook, X, etc. off your phone for the month, and return here daily for scripture reading, discussion, workouts, and weekly Zoom calls to get together and discuss what we're up to. It also will give plenty of accountability as we look to workout daily with a rest day on Sundays. So if you are looking to: - Slow down during the holidays - Reduce your dopamine addiction - Develop a consistent workout routine - Keep the holiday weight off - Grow deeper in community with like-minded men - Connect with your family during this special season - Develop a sense of reflection on the scriptures and your life - Have accountability in all of it Just comment below if you're in and invite other guys who you think could benefit from this to the Skool.👍 Let's grow in faith, fitness, and family this December while cultivate a contemplative and reflective life of slowing and intention. Saturday Coffee Hour?
My Friends! Would y'all want to get together on Zoom sometime soon and have a coffee hour? No specific agenda for this one, but to get to know each other better and discuss what comes up? I'd love to start meeting regularly, so this gives us a good opportunity to try it out. What time/day would work best? I was thinking Saturday at 6am Central. What’s up dudes!? You’re going to start seeing some DudeChat discussion posts on various topics every few days or each week where we have a chance to connect with, encourage, learn from, and support each other! With this month being suicide prevention month, I felt this topic was fitting: MENTAL HEALTH CHECK: 1. Scale of 1-10, where’s your head at in life right now? Be honest! (1 being rock bottom, 10 being absolutely fantastic) 2. What’s the biggest mountain of stress/anxiety you are facing right now? 3. How do you manage stress, and what are some strategies you've found helpful in maintaining your mental health? Would love your input! Feel free to be open and honest! This is a safe place! Late to post, but here goes! 1. 8. Honestly better than I’ve been in a while, but that is all God and how He is moving and sustaining me. 2. Finances are always a mountain for us with my wife homeschooling. We also have some future things to figure out, so there is stress and anxiety there for me because I like to have the answers, but in the meantime we are trusting God and taking it day by day. 3. Honestly, I’ve been without a close group of dudes to process life, faith, fatherhood, and marriage with. But in this season I’m trying to rally those voices around me. I need them. I’m walking through Experiencing God right now, so I’m trying to lean into Jesus more and see where He is at work so I can join Him in that work. Getting in my workouts is a huge help as well.

@Kastle Jones Amen! The season I’m in has a lot of unknowns, but He is showing His faithfulness every day, and I can cling to it on the days where the next step feels unsure. Thank you for the reminder of His goodness!

My wife and I started reading it, moving through it slowly so we can implement things without feeling overwhelmed! It’s really good, but definitely makes you want to change everything all at once, so it’s good to set realistic goals!
