Understanding the DIFFERENCE between DBR and Lead Nurture
I wanted to make a post just to clear the air as to the confusion I believe some people are having pertaining to the DIFFERENCE between DBR and LEAD NURTURE. They are TWO different functions… DBR is a form of LEAD SOURCE while lead nurturing is what happens AFTER the lead comes in. Although they are combined, the DBR aka Database REACTIVATION is one way of generating the LEAD… LEAD NURTURING involves what happens AFTER the lead ( rather previous customers, marketing lists, etc) comes in. There is no LEAD NURTURE with out the LEAD. It’s like saying there is a chicken before the egg basically. (which that last statement could be subjective depending on point of view but I digress lol) But I’m sure you catch the meaning. There is a good reason why Rob Bailey and team made two different video modules 1. INBOUND LEAD NURTURING 2. DATABASE REACTIVATION Love you all and am happy to be in this community but I’m seeing some people may be thinking the two are the same when they are NOT so just wanted to lend some clear up 🙂👍

Yes, have you reviewed the LEAD NURTURING videos? Aside from generating leads with the database reactivation you can implement the skill set of setting up the automations within GHL to lead nurture/ follow up with leads from other sources such as fb ads, Google ads, Instagram DMs, website forms, and pretty much any other lead source you can think of and filter the leads in to the same workflows you used for Database Reactivation. @Clovis Shropshire lead nurturing is NOT only in DBR my friend. That’s why there are two different modules 1. Lead nurturing. 2.Database Reactivation Yes lead nurturing can be combined with DBR but they are two different processes. I can still lead nurture with a different lead SOURCE. Database reactivation is a lead source MAINLY but is combined with the lead nurturing being the previous clients that know like and trust the business or business owner. Lead nurturing is a skill OUTSIDE of DBR that relates to the follow up sequence AFTER the lead source. The lead source could be FB ads, Google ads, etc. which would be DIFFERENT than using a database of previous customers. As to your question, of course there are other ways aside from nurturing the leads once they come in such as educating your target market/audience via content marketing, and the other ways you mentioned ( inbound marketing direct response) it all depends but… NO this particular community does not have videos on the other skills you are looking to learn outside of LEAD NURTURING/ FOLLOWUP and/or DBR. YOUTUBE does though I’m sure.👍
