Thanksgiving week
Have a strategy going into thanksgiving, like G mentioned before be dialed in this week until Thanksgiving day (or whatever day you eat) also just fast until it’s time to eat. Enjoy that time with family and friends. Let’s keep the great work being intentional with our time. Being intentional with what we are listening to. I’ve been hitting a maybe 10 minute walk after lunges and listening to “rich dad poor dad” last few days. In silence letting my thoughts run. Thinking about what I just listened to. How I can apply that to my life now. How I can generate cash flow. Idk about everyone else but I’m tired of being in the rat race with the rest of society. I WILL change my future. Let’s have a week. Keep pushing it dawgs🧠💪📈

@Mike Poglese good stuff dawg. Def makes it easier when looking for specific topics.
Opinion on paying off my upstairs and then house.
So most of you know, I took a new role at my current job which was a pay cut because I don’t get my built-in overtime working 40 hours a week. Come January we go back to shift where I will make my money back up. This will be roughly $800 a month thought about going to night shift to get shift differential which would be extra 15%. My main reason would be to pay off my Upstairs when we finished it, we used home equity line to finish it with the interest rate it’s roughly $1100 a month. My goal was to pay that off as fast as I could by paying $1000 extra on it. Then after I paid off my Upstairs, I would then put the extra thousand plus the thousand dollar payment on my actual house to pay that off. I kinda crunch numbers look like I could get everything paid off roughly around the age of 42. And that’s not being overly aggressive, but intentional. Do you think this is a good strategy always thought about being financial free and not having a house payment would be pretty fucking cool and then invest extra money into the stock market I do Work but like you said you can’t really touch it till you retire But after listening to last nights call, kinda thought about still doing that but then also investing a little bit on side to build that up early. I have a lot of thoughts so any help would be appreciated.

Ima get the details on how much the interest rate is how much is left to owe. Same with my house payment so we can really look at what I was thinking and take a deep dive in it.

I got some numbers here for reference. Finished my upstairs last November/December used HELOC loan. Loan was $100,000 the interest rate is 7.25 i currently owe about $93000. I just been paying the regular payment. Moved within my company to another site and took a pay cut just bc we’re working 40 hrs a week no OT. But like I said. Before in Jan we will go to shift. And in March. We will have a night shift. I haven’t made my mind up yet if I’ll stay days or go to nights. The reason behind me going to nights is to use that extra $$ and pay it off. This was my original plan

@Mike Poglese I like it a lot. Different perspective on how to view and look at life. I def been caught up in the rat race. Make more spend more. Work harder for the dollar. It’s time to make that dollar work for me.
THE BORING WORK, WORKS 📈💰
I’m probably most excited for G to share this type of stuff with yall 1/2022 I started putting $100 per week into SPY. When I started working with G 1:1 in July this year he told me he wanted me to find a way to contribute more I had nothing left, pay check to pay check I evaluated every single dollar that came in and went out of my bank account and I figured out I could do an extra $100 per week if I only did date night 1 day a week instead of 2 ($100/night easily) This brought my weekly contributions to $200/week G helped me get serious with a strategy Today I have $17,092.70 in cash invested into the account but it’s valued at $22,886 That’s $5786.27 profit in 2 years just swinging the axe and staying consistent each week (quite a bit better than my savings account would’ve done) Guys, we are all already doing this with our fitness, just replicating the discipline and action with our finances now Consistent persistent action I love this shit 💪🏝️🦈

@Mike Poglese bro I been literally thinking about this last couple days. Like I know exciting it is to see the scale down when you’re trying to lose weight. Seeing the cuts come in. More definition. Hitting a PR in the gym. Setting physical and gym related goals and killing it, achieving them. I’m trying to experience that in LIFE financially!!! And it goes back to thinking you need to do $500 a month. But you really don’t. Just gotta FUCKING start. That’s the hardest thing to do with anything, losing weight, working out, dieting, and now doing financial moves. I think it’s bc I just don’t where to start. that’s why this group, this classroom, is so important to me. Obviously I have 401k but I want more. I just do not have a Financial IQ. But I also honestly haven’t looked into. Just being honest. But im ready to start. Even if it’s $25. Just fuckkng starting. Learning. It’s just like losing weight and seeing only 0.5lbs eventually through consistency that leads to 10lbs. Just like you said started at $100 look where you are today. when I get locked in something I’m that’s all I think about. And financial freedom, raising my financial IQ is on the forefront right now. I was talking yesterday to some coworkers about #6pack7figs. They were yeah I don’t know about nutrition, working out or making money outside of our jobs. It just isn’t taught to us in school so I’m excited to learn and I’m grateful that we got a chance to be in this beta test. I believe everything happens for a reason, going to the muscle island event💪🏝️, meeting and connecting with people , almost getting hit by @Cory Gregory in the parking lot, going to cigar room with yall. Listening to yall talk. Which led to us hanging out pretty much the whole event, which led to creating the Get stack group💪,which was fired up already, @Danny Cesternino started a podcast “CES says”outta it which is 🔥🔥, and now it’s led to thinking outside the gym and about life financially in this Skool program. 💵
