Show him the Axelman twins on Instagram. He looks like their third little brother. Kids are so good because they are learning to walk run etc at this age. Plus their low center of gravity. Facilitate his safe progression, pads are super valuable. Lessons will not hurt. Kids are rad!

Skate progression
I have been skate around 6-7 months and I can do ollie's but I have loads of tricks that I can do consistently and good but i couldn't land like front side 180 , fakie front side 180 , heelflip , backside 180 , front shuv , and I'm kinda struggling with popshuvs. But my major issue is on the landing part , some tips pls

Hippie jumps. Varial jumps. Standing and rolling caveman jumps. Learn fast plants. Try them where your traversing sideways so the jump gets good. Roll then olliie off things. Watch the videos here. Jump onto the board and roll. Youve got to know the board is going to be there. Land 4 down.. on the bolts. Also pumping on transition will help with how to land perfect without rolling out either way. Do not land leaning back as you might hit your head so get a helmet just in case. My friends wife has on multiple occasions as a nurse admitted teens to nursing homes permanently because they failed to wear a helmet and had just one freak accident. Build up your confidence. Show your brain you're safe.

This worked for me. Learn Ollie Norths to level the board. But also kick it to manual. For variales. Learn front and backside 180s and then flips and shuvs all day. I was throwing heels today. It helps me to do 2 limited 20 minute sessions each day. This makes you want it as your running out of time, but not get exhausted or sore. For the muscles and brain its total repetition but without the landing strain. Also throw in some fakie and switch throws just to start thinking about how your shoulders really effect everything. I get a line of 3 then turn around and try again. Repetition works Totally.
i need help

Get pads. Start skating transition where you can find it. Look up old Bones Brigade videos like Animal Chin. Start searching for Animal Chin. You'll find him if you keep looking. Also learn all the tricks they did back then. This will help your over all abilities. Keep going on the street stuff but just half a session. Make a list of tricks you want, not too many, enough you can remember. Set a goal of 3 tricks a month and learn those each time you skate. Do manuals. Do Ollie to tail. To nose taps then slides. Its all related. The main thing is to learn to float. If you will review the classes you find here you'll be way up for your next session. Its really about enjoying what you can do and adding related things as you go. Getting power and control is the goal. Practice ollie's over a Tshirt to learn gaps and floating. Enjoy what you like to feel. Also contests are great for practicing for. Pick an upcoming contest and practice for a few months. This will help you get lines of tricks that you can and cannot do yet. On the day of the contest you'll get 45 seconds to execute that line of tricks. I love doing Frontside ollie's right now. I want to get them over coping on everything everytime. I also got kickfliips, did 3 today. I want those in transition and people say its the same as flat. Just keep throwing things until youre ready to commit, then do it. Skateboarding is not about daredeviling, its about confidence and that comes by practicing over and over.
Ollies
Ive been riding 5 months and ive seen progresion in ollies but they look realy sketchy, i think the problem is the back foot because it only touches the board When it pops and When i push down. Any tips?

Ollie Up and Down Things. Then Over. Just skate and Ollie everything. Do it a bunch. Try to go as far and big as you can. Get the pop. Get the float. Its a thing that will be right at the right time and place. It will be right and it will change based on what you need. You can learn to jump high ollies on flat ground. You'll get good at olliying high if you Ollie up steps. Try 1 step then 2. Then 4. Now do it on flat. You can do it.
