When I became an insurance agent in 1981
in 1981 -- I was rapidly introduced to St. Louis association of Life underwriter now call St louis NAIFA. I joined and went to as many meetings as I could they always had awesome speakers some were industry leaders. Over the years I made friends and collogues out of many of the other members and even made good friends out of some of the speakers. I frequently text Tom Hegna and he always responds back to me. Point being that venue died a few years back and left a void, But now we have this platform thanks to Ryan and Bill and others on the redwood team and it can be just as helpful for those who engage it. I agree. NALU was a great forum with excellent local meetings and speakers. For a new agent back in the "80s it was mandatory and well worth it. I still have contact with several people from those days. Sadly, in our area, it seemed to head downhill in the '90s. I really believe Redwood is the best platform out there for the type of sharing and comradery needed today, Thank you Bill, Ryan, Scott and all the rest of you guys and gals for providing this opportunity!

Generated some cash flow this week to finance my whale hunting. 7 annuity apps on three families for $1,545,000 in business through Redwood/ECA. Some of these were started 2 to 3 months ago and they all came together this week. None were from the Anywhere Advisor program but I think it's also going to be a great source as well.

Sorry for the lengthy post but here's an update on my AA campaign. An additional 4 new, booked appointments were added for this week. After running those, the results were 3 no shows and 1 who was interested but didn't book an intake call yet. This makes 2 now in short-term follow up. I also had 3 intake calls scheduled for this week. 1 cancelled, and the other two were no-shows. I still have one scheduled for the week of May 1st. That brings the totals to 23 booked appointment, 1 cancellation prior to the initial meeting, 16 initial no-shows, 6 initial conversations, 4 intake calls scheduled, 1 cancelled prior to the meeting, 2 intake no-shows and 1 intake appointment scheduled for 5/4/23. I emailed David (Terrance's son) and he agreed the no-show rate was high. We have a meeting scheduled for Monday to go through the pre-contact and pre-intake emails/texts they are sending and my approach on the first calls and intake calls. However, based on what Bill Richardson, who has been using AA for 2 ½ years, said in a meeting last week, sometimes you just hit these no-show patches and there's nothing you can do about it. Therefore, I'm not sure these initial results are indicative of the long term results of the program. One last thing. David shared this with me by email and it may clear up some misconceptions: "There seems to be a serious misunderstanding of our program. The only guarantee is that you will get at least 20 booked appointments in total over the 90 day program, you will get more if you run to more states however. Currently I have you projected to get around 100 total booked calls based on how your campaign has performed so far. The guarantee also refers to booked calls, not kept appointments, as we would have no way of verifying that the appointments were actually held other than taking the advisor's word for it." – David McMahon

@Lyn Fisher Hey Lyn. Had a good meeting with David McMahon yesterday to refine the approach and make sure my calendar was integrated properly. He's turning my ads back on today or tomorrow so we'll be going again by the end of the week! Still have one intake call set for next week.
