Exposing myself Lol
For whatever reason even though I am not at all involved in Party politics I've always had a passion for social issues and government and citizenship. I do find myself very dismayed at the state of our government at the federal level particularly but certainly the state courts are disappointing to me. Years ago when I decided that I wanted to go to law school I concluded that I wanted to do that because even at an early age before graduating from high school I had a sense that the judicial system was somewhat broken and that it was too complex to comprehend and I had this idea that by learning it from the inside out perhaps then I could help fix it make it more accessible. Today I am much more be here now focused I have no strong desire to rail against the powers that be or to loudly try to tear down any structures that are in place. I'd rather think about what we want to build because inevitably the Universe tends to chaos and what is now will not remain indefinitely. I am working on a course and I will offer it here and I will actually post a screenshot of my Trello board for anyone that is interested to take a look at and give feedback on.

Leaderboards
I set up the names for the leaderboards to mimic the names I had during the years of my post-high school education. That started the month I turned 18 with 3 years active duty and a trip to Saudi Arabia/Iraq/Kuwait. Then my four years at Penn State. Earned a B.S. in the Administration of Justice. After graduation I married a young lady who I had known since my senior year of high school who shared an apartment with me our last years of college and we took a couple years off and worked before I started law school in New Hampshire.

The Art of CitiZENship & Fundamental Rights
On the 31st of January, 2024, the fundamental truth of inalienable human rights and human equality is more obvious than ever and therefore I am forming this community on skool.com so that at least some of us may willingly join together and through mindful effort bring into full form “The Art of Citizenship.” This community aims to be a forum where everyone is encouraged to explore and define what it means to be a global citizen in today's interconnected world. The Legacy of Human Rights Declarations The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, enacted by the United Nations in the previous millennium, laid down the groundwork for a global understanding of human rights. It is time we revitalize these documents, integrating their principles into our daily lives to give them practical, colloquial significance. Understanding Our Global Community With over 8 billion individuals inhabiting our planet, the undeniable truth of our shared origin and inherent equality comes to the forefront. This blog emphasizes the inalienable right each person holds over their being, underlining the importance of mutual respect and understanding in our global community. The Balance of Individual Authority and Collective Harmony Our individual authority over ourselves is a fundamental right. However, it should be exercised with the understanding that one's actions should not infringe upon the freedoms of others. This section delves into the delicate balance between individual rights and collective harmony. The Clarity of Law and Its Impact on Society In advocating for a world where laws are written in language comprehensible to all, we stress the importance of clear, accessible legal frameworks. This is crucial in empowering every adult to understand and abide by the laws governing them, enhancing societal cohesion and justice. The Role of Education in Shaping Citizens Education plays a pivotal role in shaping informed, responsible citizens. This section explores how schools and communities can contribute to a deeper understanding of citizenship and human rights, preparing individuals to participate actively and ethically in society.
