Hey my name is Chris Stout— I wrestled for one season in high school and am a blue belt in BJJ and have been training for almost 5 years. I am currently 31 years old and my short term grappling goals are to to use the blending of a wrestling takedown element to my game to earn my purple belt this year, to build more explosive strength, and to really understand takedown defense and how to regulate my own tension to not telegraph my own takedowns. Long term goals are to build a solid base of strength that is both maintainable and functional for combat grappling type movement, to earn my black belt in Jiu Jitsu while maintaining a more combative style with wrestling blended in, and to eventually be able to transfer these skills to my 4 (about to be 5) kids! Two goals unrelated to grappling are to expand my business portfolio by launching a successful faith based non profit this year and to build a garage that doubles as a functional training area on my property. 🦍🤙🏼✝️
