šŸ‹ļø My honest thoughts on Crossfit
Alright guys, so I tried Crossfit for 4 weeks, 2x a week. My honest verdict: I got leaner quicker, yes. BUT, I also: #1: lost muscle mass #2: got hungrier #3: was more exhausted, and also irritable. #4: my sex drive went down. High intensity exercise does that to your body. The more intense the sessions, the bigger the repercussions. Strength Training + Walking 10k Steps is the way. Just my thoughts, drop a šŸ’Ŗ if this was helpful!

Seitan Recipes?
I'm curious what recipe y'all are using for Seitan in the meal plan? I finally got all the supplies in the mail for the challenge and then noticed a lot of the recipes call for Homemade Seitan as an ingredient and I wasn't quite sure what product/recipe I wanted to use. Do you think a store-bought Seitan would work too? Or is there a specific recipe/product that is recommended that fits the meal plan? I'm thinking of trying this Upton's Seitan... Any tips would be great, thanks!! šŸŒ±

Yeah, I love it too. Took me a while to understand the VWG and with trial and error, I can now work with it confidently. It"0s so versatile. Enjoy!
Tempeh Questions
Tempeh always tastes bitter to me - no matter how I prepare it. What suggestions do ya'll have to make it taste less bitter and/or make it more flavorful? TIA!

I just cut the blocks in to thinnish strips and then steam them for about 6 minutes in a steamer in the microwave. It removes the bitterness completely. Take out, dump in your sticky marinade and leave for 30 mins. Then I air fry till roasty in the air fryer
