Artwork working on ✍️

Hi all, I'm sharing a few photos of illustrations I have been working on for the next edition of The New Acadian Journal which is focussing on sculptor and poet, Ian Hamilton Finlay's garden 'Little Sparta' in Scotland. The first four images below are for this book. The first image will be the cover. The pink roses will be endpapers. I am working on some other images of his sculptures in the landscape for this book as well. The image of the house is a private house commission for a lovely couple in Adel - they wanted me to include a fox in the picture as these are frequent visitors to their garden. I've also just completed another house commission for someone in Roundhay, but don't have a scan of that work yet.

Weekend Sketch Walks in December
Just testing the water for a potential coffee and sketch with me in December. I was thinking of Nero's Wellington Place, sketch at the Wagon Hoist Museum. Just a social/sketch & coffee either on a Saturday or Sunday.

Next Coffee Meet up - Fri Nov 15th Tiled Hall Cafe 10am
Our next coffee meet up will be at the Tiled Hall coffee Shop in Leeds Art Gallery! Hope you can make it, if you can use the poll below so we know how many will be attending. We will grab a coffee and get sketchbooks out for about till 11:30am and do some sketching from in situ! Hope to see you there!

1st coffee meet up reminder
Hi, just a reminder that our 1st coffee sketch meet up is happening in 11days. If you would like to attend just go to meet up section and say in on the pool that has been setup on the post so we have an idea of numbers. Thanks!
