Health journal/planner
Hi! Does anyone use a STM for health? I have a new book laying around and yet I can't start, scared to ruin it. I have recently started training with a coach and I would love to keep track of everything. But I am kinda in doubt to just integrate it in my generale journal VS starting a real journey-journal. Does that even make sense 🤭

I would write down what you are doing at the gym or where you are training and if you are lifting weights or running 5km to a clock to observe your improvements.
Log Book/Journal with Time Stamps
Does anyone else keep a journal with exact time stamps or am I the only one? Every day, I write down my everyday life. Sometimes I don't write for weeks, and then I have to go back and browse chats and photos to get the exact time, but a journal entry would look like this: 7:14 wake up 7:49 take out my dog 8:05 coffee at the dining table 8:20 sit at my desk, start writing emails ... all the way down to when I had lunch, when I watched a show, and when I went to bed. Please tell me I'm not the only one!

Hi Sarah, I used to. I had a whole family day per page diary. It was great but my husband didn’t always use it, so I went to a family wall calendar. Now. I prefer to write a list of activities to complete in a day or week on a blank facing page; and anything fun like going out to lunch with a friend and the specific time on under the actual date. Thank you for sharing how you track your activities, Sarah. It has prompted me review that method of journaling for work 😉
Commonplace Book Project
Hello! I'm thinking of starting a new commonplace book, and I watched a ton of videos on YouTube. Maybe too many videos, because now I can't decide on what type of journals to use, if I should go with ruled paper or graph paper and so on and so forth. My main concerns are: - should I use a pocket size or A5 size? - ruled, graph or dotted paper? - bound journals or something like the filofax system? Since it'll be something I do for memory keeping, I'd like for the notebooks to be the same size, easy to archive once finished and easy to replace or refill. Plus I'd like for the paper to be ink friendly, so not too thin but not too heavy either. I'm planning to use highlighters and even maybe brush pens. I have unused notebooks I could use for this little project of mine, but some of them seem to be hard to get online (I bought them in bookstores before the pandemic). So any advice on how to approach this matter? Do you do commonplacing and what notebooks/supplies you use?

I thought about this too but doubt I would ever use an index or contents section. I think my brain gets overwhelmed by categorising and putting it in order… I know, that was the idea of a BuJo. I do have a pocket sized notebook which I keep in a back pocket and I just write stuff down in it. If it ends up being a good idea, I may transfer it to work on it, or park it there. Also I find I am pretty good at remembering where I have written it down, and which book. Pen and paper rules.
Finance tracking and budgeting layouts.
Hello everyone. Tracking budget and spending. Layouts… what do they look like? Do you sit down everyday and write down every purchase, or do you just track the bills and income? I am a bit inconsistent with my finance tracking for a number of reasons. Looking forward to your thoughts. Cara

Paper
Are we allowed to post about journaling products generally, or only STM? I’m wondering what type of paper I’m writing on at the moment, because it’s soooo delicious with my fountain pen! The notebook was given to me by a client 15 years ago and the company looks to have merged or something so I’m struggling to track it down to find an equivalent. The paper is probably 90gsm but I’ve never written on anything so silky before. My nib just glides and quink ink sits on it momentarily before drying but doesn’t bleed. Any ideas? What a journal nerd question 🤣

Fountain pens, bikes, food and family are a few of my favourite things.
