I got Bali belly | A Post About Energy
I arrived in Bali a few weeks ago. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be... Energetic. The tropical Bali climate means one minute there's intense sun and beautiful blue skies, the next there's thundering rain heavier than you can imagine. This climate breathes life into Bali. The island's lush vegetation, from the towering rice paddies to the dense tropical forests, is awash in a kaleidoscope of colors and sounds. Even the animals are affected by this energy. Monkeys, stray dogs, lizards, ants, cats all roam the streets. Bali feels so young and energetic that it makes the UK look like a retirement country. Boring weather. No dangerous animals. Tame driving. Not to mention the lack of earthquakes, tsunamis, or any natural disasters for that matter. In Bali the energy is so contagious, and seeps into your bones. Until... the dreaded Bali belly comes along. If the climate causes plants and animals to thrive, it has the same effect on bacteria and parasites. All of a sudden, the energy gets wiped out of me. I'm in bed. Sleeping most of the day. Trying to regain my energy. And it taught me a valuable lesson. Energy is everything. CHANGE REQUIRES ENERGY. So one of the biggest levers you can pull if you want to make any change in life (build your business, get in better shape, produce better work) is the energy lever. So I thought it could be worth making this post a mega thread about energy. What's the biggest thing you've done to increase your energy? What resources have you found that contain great advice about improving energy? I'll go first.

@Hannah Weaver It sounds like it definitely would .. it allows us to use physiology to interrupt and influence psychology. Changing state is a powerful tool! I actually have a free community specifically for health professionals wanting to learn more and use breathwork .. You can find it here. I do also run a comprehensive training (again specific for health practitioners) that is a principles based (anatomy, physiology, nervous system, emotions etc.) rather than a methods based (Wim Hof Method vs. Buteyko etc.). The underlying principles are what matter when aiming to impact the system. If you'd like to learn a little more about what it entails, I'd be happy to chat :)

@Hannah Weaver Sounds great! Look forward to connecting and sharing about more about how impactful breathwork can be for self-regulation
I spent $20k to learn how to go viral
Dylan Jardon and Henry Belcaster have been best friends for ages. They started a podcast together, but were frustrated with how slow their growth was. Dylan decided to take a break, spend some time in isolation, and refused to come out until he had figured out the art and science of going viral. Whilst he was alone, he came up with a viral formula, and when he put it to the test, it worked! He was pretty stoked, but it could've been luck... Right? Dylan taught what he understood to Henry, and Henry started blowing up too! After hearing about this story I paid them both $20k, and they taught me everything they know about going viral. And I thought I'd share my biggest takeaways with you for free :) LESSON 1: THE VIRAL FORMULA According to "the lads", the formula for going viral is: Story X Pop Culture X Animation = Viral Blend pop culture (something that everyone knows) with a great story (something that's already viral) with high quality animation to make timeless content. But does every short need ‘Pop Culture’ in it? According to the lads, yes. They view pop culture as the jet fuel for the concepts you’d want to teach. We’re playing a different game with Shorts. People are scrolling and have no idea who you are. Hook the viewer instantly by giving them something they care about. LESSON 2: EVERGREEN > TIMELY But not all pop culture is created equal. There’s a difference between creating Timely Shorts and Evergreen Shorts. Many Shorts people make Timely content e.g. Alex Hormozi when FTX crashed: https://www.tiktok.com/@ahormozi/video/7165572368637922606 But Timely content like the news won’t be relevant in 1 month. Evergreen > trending for a few reasons: - The long tail of shorts is important. Most videos that pop take a few weeks to get going.  - Anything we create should be as relevant in 2 years as it was in the first 2 days post upload

@Zein F are you using the above as prompts for chatGPT? will it spit out specific content / suggestions?
Breathwork Beats Meditation
But what type of breathwork? This study did a head to head comparison between two versions of breathwork and a mindfulness based meditation. The results showed that five minutes a day of cyclic sighing was the most effective practice for improving mood, stress and various aspects of physiological arousal around the clock (not just during the breathing practice). It also improved sleep and heart rate variability. This is not to say that meditation does not have other potent benefits. But for time efficient stress reduction, breathwork is the go-to. If you'd like a video breaking down how to practice the physiological sigh, just drop a comment below! Link to Paper00474-8)

First $1K, Job offer & YouTube Partner
I spent 10 months gaining 70 subs. Then one of my vids got some traction (120k+ views) and lots of crazy stuff has happened. I made $1.2k+ from affiliate links (that I didn’t add till 100k views 😩) I’ve finally be accepted into the YouTube partner program (after 2 months of problems) I got a job offer from the guy whose breathwork course I reviewed. And I’m going to be apart of a breathwork brainwave study in Cambridge! Plus I got a ton of free courses (about £1k worth!) Crazy times. I wouldn’t have kept going without the knowledge and support from this community. Appreciate you all.
