Hey Miro! Thank you for sharing. I have a few thoughts. 1. Recognize what's in your control. This is not medical advise, because I'm in no way qualified to give any, but if you're taking medication that has a side effect of weight gain, then that's not necessary in your control. And that's okay! 2. Know your "why." I believe this is the most important reason because your "why" (or your reason for wanting to improve fitness) drives you to achieve your goals. 3. "Reset as many times as you need." These aren't my own words (maybe from Dr. Colin, but I'm not for sure), I just read it recently and it stuck with me. Nobody does fitness perfectly, and sometimes, instead of being stuck in a rut, all that is needed is an adjustment. 4. Keep it simple. As humans, we're really good at making things complicated. I believe the REAL challenge is keeping things simple. This will help with consistency. One of the reasons why I enjoy this app is everything is already programmed, all I need to do is to open the app, and workout! 5. Make one change at a time. This goes with "keeping it simple." If you decide to make a change that would be beneficial to you, then only focus on that one change, and continue to stick with it. I would NOT recommend doing multiple changes all at once. This can be applied to nutrition, working out, etc. 6. Find a workout partner. I currently don't have anyone I workout, but the seasons of life when I did have someone to workout with, it helps with consistency, but also it builds comradery. I believe comradery to the best FUEL for fitness. 7. Find "play" with your workouts. If your workouts feel "strick" or "regimented," and you hate doing them, inevitably this will lead to burnout. I would recommend exploring different mental approaches to your workouts that make them more fun.
