She wants me to bring her bestie to a concert
I’m leaning against doing this, just based on a gut feeling, but I thought it’d be a relevant topic for discussion! We’ve been seeing each other for a few years and she has brought her friends over for sleepovers on occasion — unsolicited by me. I rarely spend any money on her (split almost everything 50-50) but I wanted to bring her to a particular music festival at the end of this month, so I bought us tickets. She immediately reciprocated and bought the hotel room. Now her bestie asked her if I would buy an additional ticket for her! Bestie was grabbing my arm and flirting with me at a Halloween party a few weeks ago. Like me, her bestie is a big fan of the particular music at the festival. She is fun, athletic, single, feminine etc but otherwise I know very little about her, or about her reasons for wanting me to BUY her a $200 concert ticket. For all I know, she could be trying to meet up with someone else at the festival — or maybe i’m just being TOO cynical 🤷🏻‍♂️ As a soon-to-be MOA student, I’m inclined to be just friends with her on whatever terms — but buying expensive concert tickets still feels like preferential treatment, for girls who I’ve already been friends with for a period of time. She gets a high level of stimulus from her social media, so perhaps she doesn’t think there’s anything unusual about making such a bold request. Perhaps she just wants to feel desired by me before she spends the night with us at the hotel. EXPLAIN your reasoning in terms of MOA principles why you would or wouldn’t buy a ticket for her bestie (assuming you can easily afford it 3x)

@Ethan Clark agree but she can get some thirsty guy to buy her ticket, then ditch him and join me instead. Women will make rules for some guys, and break rules for other guys. But I will not break my rules for her

Ok gents here’s how I played it I replied to my girlfriend: “Why is she asking me [to buy her ticket] indirectly through you, is she really that shy or trying to avoid feeling rejected if I say no? Tell her to call me!” And when the friend calls me I’ll then say something like “since I respect your audacity to make such a bold request, here’s my offer. If you get some thirsty guy to buy your ticket, then ditch him and come party all night with us, I will buy both of you ladies tickets to the next two festivals.” That way I’m not rejecting her. Yet I’m not being a pushover, and I’m not being cheap either. No preferential treatment. Her friend is playfully friendzoned by me unless she can get on my level — and she will either chase or at the very least tell the circle of girls she runs with how bold my response was to her bold request. Boldness respects boldness (and it pays to advertise). File under ‘amused mastery’. The question (including the question you ask yourself) should be clarified to indicate whether you are addicted despite having relationships with women in real life. If you have women coming over to be with you in real life, would you still be “addicted”? If not, then you’re not really addicted, you are just substituting (in the economic sense). So don’t be too hard on yourself. Just take the correct action.
Why container events and group events ran supreme
No gatekeeping. Everyone in this skool should be incorporating container events even if it is just pizza and tequila. At a container event, because you're the center of attention and you're the leader .Both men and women will see you as relevant and confident. Therefore, Social proof do most the networking or gaming for you. All you have to do is figure out the logistics and see whoever you vibe with the most How To Make It Easy On Yourself One of the simplest ways to make it easy for your social life is to have the container event be as close as possible to your place. If you can make YOUR place the container event even better! Personally, when I was first getting started improving my social circle . I did photoshoots but found more rapport with sushi events near my friend’s apartment near Madison Square Park. Fundamentals can’t be avoided. Look your best, build social proof, be funny and bonus points if you have access to a dj booth . Drills to Build Comfort: 1.   Find a commonality by talking about the three things that are easy to find commonalities with (location, career, hobbies). Go through all 3 until you find 1 commonality. There are 8 billion humans in the world. You are bound to have one thing in common. 2.   Invite 20 to 30 friends to walk in with you to the club, bar, restaurant etc so you have social proof or preselection. My Event Template Monthly Event: Networking at a club (Comp table ) Pre Game: Insert wine bar/ aesthetic bar that needs traffic on a slow day Transport: Uber Venue 1: insert sushi restaurant Transport: Uber Venue 2: insert comp table Transport: Uber After Party: Party Airbnb or Apt Who to invite: 20 high status business owners 100 models/content creators What: Food drink party When: Thursday night Where: Insert your city Why: To start the weekend right, network and celebrate the weekly sales successes of my career, content and growing business. Respond with your go to container event and how you like to connect with sponsors
