Introduce Yourself! Where are you from? What are you passionate about? What are your goals within this community?
Hi All! My name is Mary (she/her), and I live in Arlington, WA on a beautiful 20 acre farm, Pragtree Farm. I have been co-stewarding this land with three of my friends for a couple of years now and am honored to be a part of this intentional community. This farm has a rich history of many hands contributing to caring for this space in a way that helps to regenerate the earth. Tending to the land is truly one of my passions. I am excited to connect with you all and be a part of this collective, where we can share what we are working on and what we are learning and get feedback from others on how to best take care of the land (and each other). I am a landscape/farm designer who is passionate about regenerative farming practices. I love bringing designs to life by embracing my artsy side, but really, it is my goal to help others and put my all into this "work." I want to continue learning how I can help land owners, fellow stewards, enthusiasts, and daydreamers explore the tools it takes to create a sanctuary that fully embodies permaculture ethics and is soothing to the soul. We are in this together and can't wait to meet you! P.s. Say hi to your dog for me.

Hi. I am Brian Fey. I have been living off grid in a forest in central Mexico since 2004 practicing food forest farming. I have hosted around 3,000 people in various roles. Some as volunteers, tourists, for workshops, students of permaculture. Here is a little tour of my place: https://youtu.be/nf-P2sXxacQ Some photos: Bosque Village’s albums | Flickr I shut things down a while ago because I got tired of people. I wasn't filtering them well. And I broke both my legs when I fell off a roof while videoing a town party. https://youtu.be/vSvc9UcIoD0 Things were very difficult after that, but I am healed, at least physically. The land is very large, 83 acres, and the nearest neighbor almost 2 km away. I have divided the land up for various uses but haven't fenced them yet. Composting toilets, solar panels, plant propagation area, wood fired sauna, various cabins. I have a lot of visions for projects. - Restart the permaculture classes and workshops. My views on permaculture go beyond what normal PDCs cover. - Ecobuilding program. I have local instructors but could use a bilingual person with other experiences. I have build with cob, but would also like buildings in almost every style; earthbag, - Remote worker village. I have Starlink and could get more as needed. Content creators welcome. I used to work in software and have some projects I want to develop so geeks might work well here. - Several YouTube channels: primitivism, off grid living, music channel, etc. I have channels now but want to create very popular ones with creative people and profit sharing. - Possible crowdfunding efforts: Donkey sanctuary, Ideal rabbit raising system, solar sauna design, larger solar food dehydrator, solar chicken brooder. - I was raising rabbits and it was quite successful. I would like to start again and better: (9) What I know about raising rabbits... - Bosque Village - Quora - Grant writing - ?? Do you have compatible visions? I have the space and experience. Make me a detailed proposal and introduction. I don't talk to anonymous people.

@Luke Sams Thanks. Feel free to message and to introduce yourself and the values you live by. I will likely be deleting public profiles. I need to be more selective about who I communicate with.

Where are we from in the world
I’m interested to see where everyone here is from around the world. If you are in the ‘rest of world’ comment below where you are. We can always ask more polls to determine where in the USA/ Australia etc we are so we might connect in a more regional sense.
