I passed my PMP - 3ATs
Hi friends, I’m happy to share that I recently passed my PMP exam with ‘Above Target’ in all domains! This achievement is one I hold close to my heart, and I deeply appreciate everyone who supported me on this journey, especially Nohjay Nimpson—your contributions and encouragement made all the difference. It’s one major hurdle crossed, and I’m filled with gratitude for this milestone. Here’s to the next chapter! 🚀

Amazing news! Congrats 🎊
PDU's
Hi I applied for the PMP and got approved. I didn't have to mention the PDU's in the application. Is that normal? I am taking AR's Udemy course currently. Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hey @Amber Fernandes part of the application process is showing your work history and documenting what course you completed for the 35 PDU's. You should have seen it as you were completing the application. I would recommend reaching out to PMI support and see if they can guide on how to make sure your PDU's are documented. I do know that if you completed Andrew's course and they need to audit, they can verify it with TIA to confirm.

Oh. I didn’t know that was possible. I believe there approval is only good for a year. I’m sure you will knock out the exam in that timeframe. Best of luck and if there’s anything the community we can do to assist let us know.

Shout out to @Jay Nimpson for hosting study sessions EVERY Sunday & Tuesday! Hands down the best person to host study sessions. The sessions are collaborative, engaging and give you a place to think through your ideas or challenge what you thought you knew. Many of people that have joined have passed their PMP. Studying for your PMP doesn't have to be a solo journey. You need a tribe! and Jay has provided just that.

Project Management Jobs
By definition, Project Management is a temporary endeavor. So why would a business hire a project manager on full-time basis as a permanent staff?

TIA simulator vs PMI SH
Did you find a big difference between these 2 simulators? Which has more difficult questions ?

I took Andrew’s TIA stimulator. The questions were challenging but it encourages mindset. Andrew recommends scoring an 80. As for the PMI SH, the feedback that I’ve heard was SH seems to more difficult, scoring anywhere in 60-70 is a good thing. I choose the TIA simulator because I took Andrew’s Udemy course and it was important to me to be consistent across the board and not get confused by a different way of learning. It all boils down to personal choice. 🤓
