From personal experience you'll just have to manually think about it until it naturally happens. Coach saw me doing this so he made me emphasize following through as far as I can while keeping my leg locked out. Make sure you're doing it with all your movements as well like 1 steps and no steps when applicable
Make sure you're keeping your shoulders forward throughout the entire rep. This should automatically make your contact point lower and give a better swing angle, but if not then try to film yourself and see where your contact level is. If it's too high then try to focus on keeping your shoulders forward and making contact around knee height.
