So I took a loss on a buy trade today. Could someone kindly help me know what I might have missed and why the trade failed? And yes, there was a valid FMZ (within 1 hour and 100 points of the follow-up). Pic attached. Trade 1: MNQZ2024 5 Minute CID Candles: (13:40, 13:45 and 13:50) 1 Minute CID Candles (Follow Up): (From 14:09 to 14:11) FMZ: (From 13:24 to 13:26) 5-Minute Level Up: (13:55, 14:00, 14:05)

Why did these 2 5-1-5’s fail?
As you can see those Black Lines are a 15M Gap, so it Retraced into Discount. I waited for (142) formation on the 5M & 1M… Turns out it did it twice, but somehow still failed I saw a Target into the 4H Gap for the reason to Buy

@James B. Norman okay that makes sense now. At First I thought we were creating a FMZ cause it was so Tight & the 5M was forming. But completely Left out the Premium/Previous Session Expansion/Monday Conditions Factors
