What’s up everyone! We own a very small irrigation business in Utah. We’ve have a few things dialed in but so so so much to go. The goal this year is to get a VA set up along with SOPs for that position allowing me to be in the field without the phone distracting all day.

Right on man! Ive spoken with a couple people who have used VAs for a variety of tasks including answering calls and doing some basic estimating and scheduling. It can certainly be done and can take a lot off your plate. If you haven't already start recording your phone calls with new customers. This can be helpful for developing a script and also using for training purposes for specific scenarios. In my experience with VAs you get out what you put in. Meaning the more you give them as far as training, detailed SOPs, real world examples, and philosophy / thought process, etc… The better output you'll get from them.
