POD Additions to the DFY Design Club!
After polling the DFY Design Club, we've decided to start adding AI prompts for POD products that are trending/low competition! Daily low competition/trending digital design products/AI/SEO will still be added...this is just a NEWLY ADDED BENEFIT for the group. While it won't be every day, like the digital designs, there will definitely be a few each week! This is a great time to get into the group before the price increases soon!! 😆 Love this!
Anxiety/Stress/Perfectionism: Sharing this because it's very common...
There was a post earlier in the other group about anxiety with posting designs, SEO, shop layout, etc. and I wanted to shared my response to let everyone know that this is very common and to help anyone that may feel imposter syndrome in anyway and know you're not alone... So in response to feeling like you have imposter syndrome, or your shop layout doesn't look perfect or your designs aren't looking like what you want or like others: When I decided to make tumbler wraps designs, there were several large design shops with over 100K sales and 5K+ reviews and they were graphic designers (like real ones who used PS, Illustrator, and Procreate), I know this because I joined all the FB groups and was doing as much research as possible to see what made them successful...because here I was, just utilizing commercial use graphics and attempting to draw in Procreate (that ended quickly). I created SO many designs, that I NEVER posted because I thought they weren't good enough, didn't look like theirs's, and I just felt like an imposter in their SPACE. After like my 100th YT video, I was just like, you know what, whatever, I need to post them to see what works and what doesn't and I did and I started getting sales on the most random designs (and in my opinion) the most ugly designs. But it was because they weren't like everyone else's....they were unique in their own way, because they were different from the 'professionals' . So it's ok to be NOT be perfect or be different than the rest. My early designs were NOT 300 DPI, some were not size correctly, I had typos on a few (this still happens today) etc. But the more I posted, the better I got and the more that sales happened and the more my confidence grew and I just kept posting, practicing, posting practicing and within that first year, I topped every original 'tumbler designer' on Etsy in both sales and reviews. (not a flex, just facts :). All this to say, don't let perfectionism stop you from posting, you'll always be continuing to learn and that's a good thing. :)

Thank you @Bailey V I feel that way all the time. I make SOOOO many designs that I never publish. I have literally like 600 that I worked and worked on and they just sit there on my HDD. It really bothered me the other day when I saw one of the best sellers on Etsy and I had the same idea almost the same image and I went looking and sure enough sitting on my HDD from like 8 months ago never published. I am working on publishing more and worrying less I edit the tiniest little imperfection to death before I publish but I am working on it. Oh and you are 100% correct on the designs. The number one design I have that has sold the most almost daily is one I upload as a last minute one night just because I was trying to reach 200 designs I do not even like it. LOL weird. I am so glad it is not just me. 😆

@Kristin Lieb Same thing happened to me! My #1 seller was an after thought just to get more designs out there. I remember thinking the same thing "I would never buy this" but maybe someone will. Crazy right?

I made this Reel below for my IG, but was only showing DallE3 outputs in it, so I added the other outputs below, which is your fave?? 1 -DallE3 2 -Ideogram v2 3 -Flux.1 pro Check out the Reel here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAeSnhAi3u2/ All were done in MyDesigns! (Code: BAILEY25) my affiliate link Prompt: A captivating watercolor hand drawn clipart style a stack of vintage gothic books in shades of purple, grey, black, and dark blue. The stack of books is surrounded by vibrant, luxurious deep purple roses, leaves, and other botanical elements. In the center, the text "morally grey" appears in a delicate yet bold script font evoking a sense of mystery and elegance.

Were you "Pro or No" to AI when it came out for designing images?
I get it....AI is a touchy subject, it was for me too... It seems like yesterday, but at the beginning of 2023, diving into AI felt nerve-wracking. My Etsy store was FALLING BEHIND fast. 😱EVERYONE was now using AI to create/sell their designs. I was SO hesitant to use it at first, thinking my customers were going to be 'anti-ai'. But it was either try and catch up or let the shop go. 🤿 So, I jumped in and went ALL in. (and my customer's loved the new designs, btw) I've learned how to use a few AI tools quite well and I don't just use it for my Etsy designs. It does much more. It helps with SEO, makes product mockups, manages my calendar, helps with content ideas, social media and posting. I got way better at business because of it. 🤔 I get asked all the time, 'how do you prompt like that'... and the reality is I do have a slight head start as far as writing (I was a English Lit grad, so ALL I did was write creatively for 6 years, lol). BUT, I still use AI to help me fill in the blanks when I get stuck with designs or social media ideas. ⭐ This is why I started the DFY Trending Product, AI Prompt & SEO Club. It allows me to give YOU such a HEAD START now on Etsy with a new daily trending product that has LOW competition on Etsy, the AI prompts to create them and the SEO.

Surprisingly Pro!! I was actually doing Photography when I first logged into Midjourney. I used it to replace plain sky or no clouds in my Eagle photographs and as it got better and better I just never stopped. My cameras have been gathering dust for almost a year and a half now while I spend all my time selling AI on Etsy. So yea a little bit of a fan 😆
