Newbie.
Hello there. Thanks for accepting me into the group. I’m just an old retired person that does cnc work as a hobby and to keep my mind active. Transplant from Tennessee to Texas. Been here 12’years.

Where in Texas? Seems there are quite a few folks from Texas. Then again, it’s a big state so proximity might not be quite what it seems.

@Lee McClure Nice, not too far. What is your purpose for the CNC and success/failures? Anything of import to pass on to someone new to the systems?

What CNC Do You Own or Want?

OneFinity 32” X 32” original configuration. Raffle winner, built table and learning the software. Cut one job so far from purchased files slightly modified. Attended Austin Woodworking show last weekend. Met OneFinity and JTech teams. Learned a lot. Still setting up work holding and fiddling with all the bits and pieces. Not sure what I will do with the system specifically but have a LOT of ideas. First, have to finish ongoing projects. For a retired guy, I’m wayyyy too busy. I would love to know if others are close by for in person meetings and transfer of knowledge. Texas is a big state so close is relative.
