HEAL IT DONT HIDE IT
Hidden Issues and Their Impact on Spiritual Growth In our walk with Christ, it's not uncommon to encounter hidden issues—thoughts, sins, or emotions that we keep buried. These unaddressed matters can take root deep within us, becoming significant hindrances to our spiritual growth. The Bible emphasizes the importance of confession and repentance in dealing with these hidden challenges. #### The Nature of Hidden Sin The book of Psalm 32:3-5 illustrates the burden of unconfessed sin: > "When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.' And you forgave the guilt of my sin." Here, we see that keeping our sins hidden can lead to spiritual and emotional distress. The weight of unconfessed sin can sap our strength and hinder our relationship with God. #### The Importance of Confession and Repentance Confession and repentance are essential for spiritual healing. James 5:16 encourages us: > "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." This passage highlights that confession is not just about acknowledging our sins before God but also involves community. Sharing our struggles with trusted fellow believers can foster healing and accountability. #### Practical Examples 1. **Personal Struggles**: Suppose someone is struggling with bitterness towards a friend. Instead of hiding that feeling, they could approach a trusted mentor or friend to share their struggle. By confessing this bitterness, they can pray together for healing and forgiveness (Ephesians 4:31-32). 2. **Addiction or Habitual Sin**: A person battling an addiction might feel ashamed and choose to keep it hidden. However, by seeking help from a support group or a pastor, they can openly discuss their challenges. This mirrors Galatians 6:2, which states, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Community support is vital for overcoming such strongholds.

It's going to cost you everything 🙏✝️🩸🕊️🔥👑❤️‍🔥
It’s going to cost you everything. This walk… this call… it’s going to wreck you yet bless you. But, once you have tasted and seen how good the Lord is, you won’t be able to do dead, boring, religion anymore. At this point there’s no going back. You won’t be able to just be ordinary. You won’t be able to just sit because it’s not in you anymore. You won’t be able to settle for playing it safe. You’ll be a risk taker for Jesus. While others are content to sit on the sidelines, you will be biting at the bit to get to the front line. Where others see giants, you will see the promise. Where others see opposition, you will see opportunities. You will carry this oil wherever you go and there will be those who mock you and ridicule how you burn for Him. But, you found your battle cry in the wilderness. You have to keep going. It was the valley that taught you and molded you. You have counted the cost and you are willing to lay down your life on the altar as a holy sacrifice. Tongues will rise up against the anointing on your life. They’ll lie and slander to try and discredit your call. And Those bound in religious tradition will hate you. You go against the grain. Your family will think you are crazy. Your friends will whisper about you. The religious will inspect you, reject you and may even neglect you. The Pharisaical know it all’s will want to persecute you. But, you will set your forehead like flint, not looking to the left or to the right because you have an eternal purpose stamped upon your heart. You are rooted in. Forward focused. Faithful. You are meant to shift atmospheres and war in the Heavenlies. You battle for souls. You are called to wield the sword of truth and to shake up the ground of tradition. You are called to break the mold. Whatever it takes, whatever you have to lose, whatever the cost; you will give it all for the sake of the gospel because, you have a fire shut up in your bones that burns day and night and you realize that this isn’t a choice, it’s a mandate from heaven.
