Seeking Insights from the Data Science Community on Medical Tourism Project
I’m working on a project focused on medical tourism in India, aiming to create a comprehensive platform for international patients to compare hospitals and doctors for various surgeries and critical treatments. The global medical tourism market is valued at $11 billion in India as of 2024 and is growing at 17% annually, with particular interest from patients in Southeast Asia, Africa, and parts of Europe. Do you think a solution like ours would be feasible for patients from Africa and south-east Asia seeking advanced medical care in India? What’s the general state of healthcare in Africa and south-east Asia regarding complex surgeries and advanced treatments? Are there specific challenges people face regarding cost, specialist availability, or access to top-tier medical facilities? Any input would be constructive as we move forward with our project.

🚨 Help Needed: Data Recovery from Power BI Python Script Error 🚨
Hi community, I'm reaching out for your expertise and advice. On Friday, while working on a Power BI project with Python integration, I encountered a frustrating issue. Everything was running smoothly until I modified the dashboard design by copying a measure. Suddenly, 50,000 rows of data were reduced to just 2,000 rows. Despite my attempts to run the code again and recover the data, I kept encountering errors. I tried removing the Python script and re-uploading the CSV files that were originally generated by the script, but the dashboard still did not display the correct values. I’m eager to understand how to address this issue effectively and avoid similar problems in the future. If anyone has experience with recovering data lost due to Python script errors in Power BI or any advice on best practices for handling such situations, your insights would be incredibly valuable. Unfortunately, this error led to losing hours of work, which has been quite disheartening. I’m ready to redo the project, but I’d greatly appreciate any tips or strategies to better handle and recover from such issues so that if I get this error in the future, I can deal with it. Thank you in advance for your help! #DataScience #PowerBI #Python #DataRecovery #Analytics #TechCommunity

I tried fetching the data using a Python script in Power BI and saving it in CSV format on the device from which Power BI retrieves the information. However, all the data suddenly disappeared. I spoke with an industry expert who explained that the data was still there, but a Power BI error caused it to filter, showing only filtered rows. He asked me to make some changes to prevent the data from being filtered, and now it’s working fine. But I had to make the dashboard from starting.

Is the WorldQuant Applied Data Science Lab Certificate Worth Adding to My Resume?
I've been exploring the WorldQuant Applied Data Science Lab certificate, and the modules on A/B testing, segmentation, and prediction have caught my eye. I'm considering whether this certificate would be a valuable addition to my resume. Would you recommend it as a credential to enhance my career prospects in data science?
