30 Day Skate Challenge
Who's down to do a 30 day skate challenge? 30 days of putting your skates on for at least 15-20min and practicing something/anything, even if it's just straight up balancing drills. It's Monday, and there's no day like Today to start something new. I'm working a 10 hr shift but brought my skates into work to put on during my lunch hr. If anyone would like to do their own 30 Day Challenge, let me know. I would love to share some accountability and encouragement 🙏😊

Rink skating with rentals
Planning to travel to London in the spring and really want to visit a rink there. Looks like Roller Nation will be the one – they have a soul night, so that’s exciting! I won’t have my own skates and will have to use rentals. I am not used to a toe stop any more! Wondering if they will let me switch them out for my jam plugs, and probably I should bring my own tool to adjust the trucks. Anybody have any tips?

Hey @Carrie Morgan, Roller Nation is right in my neighborhood! It's a fun, cozy spot with a great vibe. The staff there are super friendly and laid-back. You're absolutely right—Thursday is Soul Night, and Mondays are BYO skates. Weekends can get pretty wild with all the speed skating and birthday parties, but it's always a good time. Hit me up if you ever need a skating buddy while here! 🎉🛼

@Aleeta Powe I’m here with you! Once I have the two foot pivot mastered and natural movement then I’m gonna tackle the one foot, I’m not there yet, maybe my new challenge for the coming year!
