Presenting your ideas
I have not had time to learn sketch up and I’ve made a few mood boards but how is everyone presenting their plan/ideas to clients? I have done everything from a poster board with printed pics to printed photos to mood boards to just screen shots of furniture etc. I’m tired of feeling unprofessional in this area, I need some help with a better plan!

Design files is really easy for this. You can share the entire project or individual "boards" with the clients. You can choose to include all product details, mood boards, and floor plans in the presentation. I've also worked with designers who have their own branded Canva template and just insert photos of the products along with the mood boards to share as a PDF :)
Design Files vs. Studio Designer
I currently use Studio Designer but am thinking about switching to Emilee’s recommendation of Design Files. Anyone have pros and cons? I like that clients can see their invoices and portals on Studio Designer of when things are receiving or shipped and also that it integrates invoices and billing.

I've worked with designers who use both and I 1000% prefer Design Files. Its much more intuitive I just find it overall easier to use. Its got the features you mentioned, plus its great for the visual design features!

@Alison Johnson The renderings and floor plans are just okay for initial mockups, but I use Chief Architect for detailed renderings. That being said, I find I can put floor plans together a lot faster in DF, and I do like using it when I'm drawing up multiple layout options!
Project Reveal
Hi All! Wanted to share a project that I just finished! I did take a break because life got crazy and I honestly was just super discouraged because it's been so hard to find clients! Anyways! After completing this I realized how much I actually enjoy doing this so it has been a motivational boost! I even went to a networking event and handed out business cards which is huge for me since I am so introverted. This was a wedding venue, I refurnished the grooms room, bridal room and the living room.
