VAPI Knowledge Base Plugin
To train a voice assistant, vapi asks to upload documents to the 'knowledge base'. Very few customers have prepared such data as a file, but they do have it in the form of a web page. Now I have seen that fastbot.ai offers various options to train their bots... including the direct input of the URL and the AI then reads out and extracts its information itself. I would like such a function for VAPI - is there already a plugin? Or if not, could one be created (I'm not a developer)? Is it possible to link another web scraping tool via make?

@Rafal Florek @Ingo Buehler definitely support the Firecrawl idea (you can find YT videos on it) and being mindful of formatting the data, not just using the raw scrape/copy paste (easily done with prompting Claude/GPT)
Vapi squads error
Hey guys! I am experiencing a problem with Vapi squads, maybe someone can help. I have an english and a polish assistant which can transfer calls to each other. It is written in their prompt that they can transfer calls. In make.com scenario I have a custom webhook and a webhook response with such json code inside (photo is below). However, the call is not transfered. Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks in advance!

@Anastasiya Minenko thank you for your patience. Just gave it a look. A few thoughts: - You’re using very specific vocabulary “transfer the call” that gets used for voice agents to transfer the call to a another number. If you check the advanced settings, there’s a section for “Call Transfer”. - The reason you specify a Squad -> Members -> Destinations -> Description is so that description gets used by the model to decide when to transfer the call. Keep that in mind to avoid redundancies or confusion with the model. - One good strategy right now is: simplify! What that might look like: 1) right now, Vapi allows you to build and call a Squad within their visual builder without using Make. Since neither of your assistants are transient, it should not be an issue. Try that out first. 2) Try duplicating both assistants and remove the whole prompt and just task it with passing the call over to the Polish-English assistant. Make sure you’re very careful with the word choice of you prompt and your squad description, and make sure they both match each other. See you at Build Hours to see the progress :)

Vapi Webhook Response Issue
Wondering someone experienced in Vapi can help. I have job interview screening inbound assistant which takes the jobid as input and my make scenario searches a google sheet and returns the job description to Vapi to ask jobid specific questions from the caller. But no matter what I do, Vapi doesn't seem to get the Job description data back from make scenario. I am sharing some screenshots to give more context.

@Raghu Ramdas Start by keeping in webhook response ONLY the job description variable. Let me know what happens and if it still doesn’t work please record a short Look talking to the agent and showing the scenario running :)
Best Practices for capturing email addresses?
Looking for a best practices for capturing email via voice. I know its its prob best to avoid but when its needed wondering what everyone has been doing
