Passed PMP! 7/12/24 Overall AT!
I am pleased to announce that I passed my PMP exam on 7/12/24 with a overall score of AT! I tested in person at Pearson Vue Friday 10 AM, had confirmed results from PMI Saturday 6 PM. I used @Andrew Ramdayal 35hr Udemy course, PMP Exam Prep Simplified Textbook, and TIA Simulator as my main study tools. I also used his PMP crash course as a refresher before the exam. The mindset is a MAJOR key to passing this exam. I had a about 3 matching questions, and 2 math calculation questions. I took both 10 minute breaks to refresh my mind, drink water, eat a snack, etc. Note - if testing in person make sure you give yourself enough time for the exam room re-entry procedures (3-4 minutes) out your 10 minute break. Thank you all for the motivation and support! If anyone has any questions, I will assist as best I can!

Stakeholders register or stakeholder management plan
Midway through a project, the project manager identifies new stakeholders. Each of these new stakeholders plays a different project role. What should the project manager do first? A. Meet with the project sponsor to learn if new roles have been created. B. Review the stakeholder register. C. Submit a change request to the change control board (CCB). D. Update the stakeholder management plan. Answer: D. Update the stakeholder management plan. Why D is correct and B is not? PMI Study Hall Question: My Understanding of PM Concepts: What I study and understand from PM concepts is whenever we identify any stakeholder first step is to add them in stakeholder register. 2nd step is, we will analyse them using Power/interest Grid which is 2 dimensional evaluation system. We can also use Salience Model as a tool for analyzing the stakeholders which uses the concept of Urgency and Legitimacy. 3rd step understand what our stakeholders think and what they are expecting from our project. We will collect all their requirements. 4th step is, we will update the stakeholder engagement plan to engage the stakeholders according to our analysis and collected requirements. 4th step is to update communication management plan for effective communication to fulfil stakeholder engagement plan. Correct me if I am wrong or missing something...

@Ankit Singh but are we not suppose to review before we update the stakeholder register. We can't directly update any document before reviewing. What I ubderstand from the statement "Each of these new stakeholders play a different role" is, stakeholders were already updated in stakeholder's register and also analyzed. Next step was to update the stakeholder's management plan....
