How will you be paying for your studies?
I will be paying for my studies through a combination of sources. I was awarded a 20% scholarship, which will cover part of my tuition. For the remaining amount, my parents will be providing financial support. In addition, I have some personal savings that I will contribute. I have also secured an on-campus job at the university library, which will help me cover part of my living expenses and further reduce my overall financial burden.

My desire to go to the US is to acquire an advanced degree in public health in maternal and child health epidemiology at UNH in Connecticut, which will enhance my career as a maternal and child health epidemiologist. US provides an exceptional academic environment with diverse cultures that can contribute to my professional development. I have been admitted to 3 schools but I chose UNH because of its concentration in maternal and child health epidemiology as it aligns perfectly with my career goals and passion in improving the health outcomes of women and children.
WHAT HAS CHANGED SINCE YOUR LAST DENIAL?
Since my last interview, I realized there might have been concerns about my finances. I've worked on that by saving more and securing an on-campus employment, which will help cover my housing costs and reduce the financial burden. My desire to get a U.S. education has only grown stronger, and I'm still fully committed to returning to Nigeria, because of my family and friends and the opportunity that awaits me.

Since my last application, I have been able to secure an on campus job that will help me pay for my living expenses while in school. I also gained a 20% partial scholarship from my school. I will also be supporting my husband who is my sponsor with my personal savings that I have set aside specifically for my education in US. My commitment and desire to study in the US has only grown stronger and my plans to return to my husband and kids remains unchanged.
