Acai Bowl spot
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good Acai bowl spot? The only place I’ve found so far is “Voi’s Kitchen”…

Medications in Da Nang
Hi Travis and anyone else who can help. I take a specific SSRI (20 years now and it keeps me on an even keel - don’t judge please). There are restrictions on bringing in more than 10 days supply even with a letter from my doctor. How can I get a prescription from a doctor in Da Nang and get the supply I need?

I think it would be safe to bring about a 30 day supply. I usually travel with a lot of different supplements and have never been checked. I know many people on different mental health medications have brought plenty when they came over for the first time. Many pharmacies will sell medication OTC that would typically require a prescription in western countries. So it is possible you may be able to find it in a pharmacy here. In the worst case, you will have a basic check up with a Doctor at a hospital and they will write you a prescription. Of course, bring the prescription paperwork from home. DR visit and medication will be very reasonably priced here. Hope that helps.
Drivers: Bạch Đẳng Road/Trấn Phú Road
On the other side of the bridge (opposite of the beach side) on Bạch Đẳng road there is a checkpoint area. I believe it's near the government building. They're strict with the driving laws in this area; Stay alert. Also on the Trấn Phú road (opposite side of Bạch Đằng road). Apparently I was driving in the car lane. I was going to turn left on the next street, so I went onto the left lane to turn lol. I changed lanes too early lol. I got pulled over and paid a fine ₫500,000. They wanted more, but I played the "stupid foreigner" card. I showed them my USA Drivers License (they took a picture of my USA DL). Make sure to keep your motorbike key on your person. Appearently they accept international drivers permit (IDP) 🤷‍♂️. Next time I'll stay in the right lane and just go in a loop or make a left turn after the checkpoint... They were actually pretty nice lol.

Good shout Legacy. Yes that's a common checkpoint area on the city side near the Dragon Bridge. The lanes thing is not really an issue, they would have pulled you over and found something. 500k is pretty standard fine. I try to keep only 2 or 300k on me in a separate part of my bag. That's the only place I've ever been pulled over in DN. Seems like you played it well.
Possible Night Gone Wrong
So the night started pretty harmless. A little yoga. Then a swim. Got home and changed for dinner. My go to restaurant was closed but they invited me to drinks and some fingers food. Feeling welcome. The wife goes home with their daughter and now I’m out with husband and two of his friends. We are not at a notorious tourist club on beach road. Expensive drinks. Loud club music. And sexy bar girls. In a VIP booth… will be interesting how the night ends $$$ 🤔 I will update tomorrow. 🥳

I told you @Jack Cash Vietnamese folks love to show a foreigner a place like this. Even though its not my style it never gets old when Vietnamese invite you out like this.
Realtor recommendations?
Been staying month-to-month via Airbnb and know that I’m paying a premium… I see much better options on facebook! Would like to see a few options for 3-month stay starting January, from a reputable broker/representative - please let me know if you know anyone thx!
