What's the #1 challenge you're facing with your AdvisorTech stack?
One of the last questions on my tech survey, wanted to share the responses and see what solutions we can all come up with: - Integration and fully utilizing our current tech stack. - It's always about the integration between tools - Integration to avoid manual data entry and/or rekeying of data - Knowing that useful tech exists in an area where we could benefit, and having the time to assess such tech - Staying on top of all of the changes. - Integration and fully utilizing our current tech stack. - My crappy custodian, Fidelity Wealthscape is incapable of linking my accounts to Wealthbox, Right Capital, etc. They are the worst. - following up with prospects - Making sure it all works together. - Integrations that are approved by compliance - Too many and getting advisors to use them correctly. - Lack of integration and data silos. - the whole thing... keeping on top of everything while staying focused on manageable priorities Integration is clearly the #1 challenge Fully utilizing Simple awareness of the tech options available Keeping up with changes Advisors, AdvisorTech founders, Operators... what do you suggest?

I am fairly new to this industry (just over 14 months), but I have found the siloing and multiplicity of technology to be an overwhelming and significant impediment to customer service. In my review and discussion with the team, I feel we have yet to even scratch below the surface of most of our tech (Redtail and eMoney are woefully underutilized), and the thought of adding more tech before resolving this makes my head spin.
Anyone have a recommended Expense Management software?
I don't have much experience in this area...

I agree with the above. I used Expensify in my previous position, and it made tracking employee expenses and credit cards across 50 employees and 4 locations much easier than the Excel spreadsheet that most small businesses use.
What tech tools are you dropping in 2024?
I review my tech spend each month as I wrap up last month's P/L, always looking through the list to see what I'm not using / shouldn't be using... Recently dropped: - Tweethunter.io - Twitter is not a focus for me, although I'd like to think I can do both LinkedIn / Twitter... Any time I spend on Twitter is time I'm not spending on building my LinkedIn - LeadDelta - I really liked this one for a while, gives the ability to manage your LinkedIn connections in a table-like format, add tags, notes, message... just had stopped using it though - Monday.com - Tried using this for my task management, moved on - Wealthbox - I was hoping Wealthbox could be my main CRM, but also moved on :) - CustomGPT - This is really fun, I created a KitcesGPT that was based on everything on Kitces.com and you could ask it questions What I am using: - Attio.com - trying this for task management, contact management, pipeline management - love the UI, contact enrichment - Skool - run all my communities on here, it will be the next big social media - Beehiiv - email newsletters - ProAdvisorSuite & Conneqtor - Superhuman - email overlay for all my Gsuite, Outlook, Gmail addresses, very FAST - Zoom - video calls and webinars - Closely - LinkedIn outreach automation - Less Annoying CRM - just using the calendar, but I really like it - Calendly - booking appointments - Hunter.io - looking up email addresses - NeverBounce - verifying email addresses - Brain.fm - focus music What I'm considering:

I am going back and forth on Redtail. We are slowly launching some changes to our approach, but I am not fully sold on Redtail as the CRM solution we need. Our approach is just enough out of the box that standard approaches do not always cut it.

The Minimalist CFP®️ Tech Stack:
I saw a tweet from Carl Richards suggesting a minimalist tech stack. 1- @altruist 2- @Get_Elements 3- iPhone 15 Pro And then @Bill Winterberg made a "map" of it (attached). It is interesting to see how complicated the map has gotten. Will 2024 represent a push toward simplicity?

It is certainly minimalist and direct in nature. Sometimes the KISS method is best.
