One of my community members, Chef @Felicia Grady has launched her own community, and I couldn't be happier for her! She’s teaching children how to prepare meals for themselves before their parents get home from work and they get out of school. Felicia is truly changing the world, one wrap, one meal at a time! While I cherish having her in our community, I'm even more excited to witness her growth and evolution as she embarks on this new journey. Congratulations, Felicia! You don’t always have to reach your customer directly; sometimes, the best connections happen through their spouse, friend, coworker, or even social media! I met a guy today at an event who isn’t an entrepreneur and doesn’t aspire to be one, but when I asked if he knew any entrepreneurs, he mentioned that his wife wants to start her own business. I took that opportunity to share the SKOOL platform with him and handed him a postcard with my Skool Community QR code, asking him to pass it along to his wife. I also suggested that he surprise her with a gift by bringing home one of my beach bags! I told him that this thoughtful gesture would not only make her day but also serve as a little deposit into their relationship. He loved the idea and was thrilled to take home both a gift and an opportunity for his wife! So remember, think outside the box! Dream like a kid! You never know how connections can unfold indirectly. Let’s keep spreading the word!

I want to show my authentic self to my community. It's important for my community to see that I'm human—I make mistakes, I laugh, I cry, and celebrate successes. Life is all about balance! Here are my 5 key strategies to get you on the right track. 1️⃣ Define Your Niche: Focus on one area of expertise that you want to be known for. (Think what skills/experience do you have and who is it you want to help). 2️⃣ Be Consistent: Post regularly across your platforms with a unified voice and message. Take advantage of this platform! Consistently ENGAGE! 3️⃣ Engage Authentically: Respond to comments, start conversations, and connect with your audience genuinely. Be real and most of all be YOU! 4️⃣ Show Your Expertise: Share valuable insights, case studies, or tips that demonstrate your skills. Collect those reviews and show them off! It builds trust! 5️⃣ Leverage Storytelling: Use personal stories to make your brand relatable and memorable. Make sure to get your message across and simplify it. Storytelling can connect you with your audience on a deeper level. There is nothing like the human connection. Have a story and stick to it! You will only get better at telling it.
