New Video Hooks
Applying feedback from this last video/post of mine. I'm starting to play around with the first few seconds leading to the music to see what might hook viewers in more. Here are 3 new ones, in a Dropbox folder, that attempt to show more of the van and slowly introduce the day-to-day stuff that goes on when you live this lifestyle. What do you think? Is it boring? Does it feel inviting and like more of a sneak peek into my life than just a shot of me performing a new song? Taking baby steps, but the plan is to keep exploring new hooks with this framing. Sorry it's not as easy to watch as YouTube videos on here. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/naubp7aih0jzk43fwmnn5/AK4elBv8blV1WOc3xqPQKoo?rlkey=5ya0hm942zw2ahjgeitxtt99z&st=mu1n8xs7&dl=0

This is a fantastic idea. I think it's creating more of a connection between you and the viewers because it's more then just content it's showing a little about your journey. I like the second one the best, with you sitting drinking coffee. If you could, try to allow your dog into the frame while your drinking coffee though. I think everyone likes dogs, but the camera angle for that second clip was amazing.
Feedback - Two Princes
https://youtu.be/XgSTo4TdxpY ok, the updates here - Close ups of guitar solo - B-Roll- I used clips of me singing the same song when I was in highschool. That was a long time ago, but I thought it might be interesting. This was before cell phones. - Audio is about the same - Editing is about the same. - Story had more facts and maybe a more entertaining story. Thanks for watching.

great video once again. I think the song part is continuing to get better and better. Just keep adding that b-roll into it to create those stories. I think as you begin to put more b roll in to explain the story for you, you don't have to explain it as much at the end. I would probably limit the end explanation/talk to around a minute. I think the next thing I would try to improve is the thumbnails. I recently found used a feature inside youtube studio to help. If you go on youtube studio, on a desktop, then go to the inspiration tab within content section. You are able to type in ideas and it creates AI thumbnail concepts for you for free. Not sure if it would work as well for this style of content because I do think you should continue putting your face in the thumbnails, but I think you should definitely try it out, especially cause it's free, nothing to lose.
A Win - Subscribers / Earn
ok, the numbers still seem small compared to that girl on only fans making 1.5 million per month. But, its more than I have ever made on youtube. Usually, my highest earnings were about $2. This month I have moved up to $49, meaning there is growth, so Ill just keep doing what Im doing and improving each video. - Subscribers, though I am using some small adwords to push the views to new eyes, I am getting more subscribers and I am even seeing a small improvement of comments. I started at 2700 in Sept. 2024 and now Im at 4636. My goal is quality over quantity and money wise Id like to be able to get to $5k per month. Though my audio has improved substantially, I know that is another step and also b-roll and keeping my audiences attention. Popular cover songs I think helps that.

Video Feedback
I posted this video a couple of days ago. I tried to mess around with the intro a little bit to keep it a bit shorter than the last one and kept the transition explanations to keep the video flowing. Let me know anything you guys see that could be changed. I'd also be interested to hear whether you think a more advanced/professional looking thumbnail looks better than the others I've previously posted or anything I could change with that.

I’ve been posting YouTube videos for a while now and I’ve been able to get through a lot of milestones. The first year I probably had less than 20k total views and it’s just grown from there. Just try to remember that, if you’re ever thinking of giving up. YouTube is an extremely difficult thing to do and very unforgiving when you’re first getting started (statistics wise). Just enjoy the process and remember the reason you started wasn’t to get the best retention, views, money, fame, etc. It was because you love YouTube and sharing your creativity with other people. Obviously I still have a long way to go but I’m excited for what’s to come in the future!
