@Ben Lamphere yessir, recently began working on visuals for PowerBI at work, although still working on implementing data integrations

@Ben Lamphere I haven't created bots directly for the PowerBI platform and am not sure how that would look like, as by nature PowerBI is for creating visuals once you have all the data set up... However I've spent several months creating bots and automated data integrations for multiple platforms into a SQL database, that is being used to fuel PowerBI analytics. What have you built so far with the PowerBI management software?

How Meeting Clients' Needs Landed Me a 5-Figure Automation Deal
In this rapid world, everyone is looking for opportunities to simplify their life or expedite the rudimentary work they do manually every day. This is where automation comes into play to solve those problems. Tech stacks like Puppeteer and Selenium are AMAZING tools to leverage and build a bot to automate any work. But what's the point of having these skills if you’re not making any bread or bank? That’s exactly what I asked myself when I started working with my recent client. After several back-and-forth discussions, it became clearβ€”if I could meet their needs and tailor a solution to their workflow, the deal was mine to seal. This client had a unique challenge: they needed to manage multiple brokerage accounts seamlessly through automation. After several discussions and demos, I showed how a bot could save them time and money, streamlining processes across multiple brokerages using Puppeteer. But it wasn’t just about the tech. It was about understanding their workflow, addressing their concerns, and making sure the solution was scalable and easy to use. Another key part of closing deals is understanding the value of your work and negotiating numbersβ€”without being greedy. When I approached the pricing for this bot, I did my research first. I took the time to break down exactly what the client needed, the scale of the automation, and the long-term value it would bring to their business. From there, I documented everythingβ€”why each feature was necessary, how it would impact their workflow, and how the tech would save them time and money in the long run. When it came time to present the quote, I made sure to clearly explain every aspect. I didn’t just throw a number out thereβ€”I justified it. And when the client wanted to negotiate, I was open to it. It’s important to remember that closing a deal isn’t about squeezing out the highest amount of money you can. It’s about finding a balance where both sides feel satisfied. You have to show the client the value they’re getting and be willing to meet them in the middle if needed.

That’s an awesome post! As a dev that made bots for business clients, how did you deal with their concerns about the platforms that they’re automating changing or increasing security against bots? This is something I came across when I first began my big project for a construction company, and am curious if that question came up and how you addressed it πŸ‘€
Part 3 of the Target Checkout is out!
Part 3 of the tutorial series is in "Classroom," under "Target Checkout Bot." The next video is the last video and will cover how to use Puppeteer to enter your payment information within seconds!

Nice!! This is gold for a beginner making their first bot!
A 4 figure project completed in 6 hours
A co-developer (@Ilya) and I worked on a recent project that was generating a QR code onto an AI generated image of a city that was requested by the user. Sounds simple right? Not exactly. We used DALL-E by OpenAPI and while we had high expectations we realized that DALL-E was kind of cooked πŸ˜… . Even with clear-cut directions it would generate an image of the city from far away even when we would say "zoomed in view please". This resulted in multiple hours of testing and prompt engineering to find the best prompt to get DALL-E to understand us. Do you know any better AI-image generators with APIs that might trump DALL-E? Be sure to link them below :)

The world if DALL-E actually generated what it was asked consistently πŸ‘‡

Jokes aside, it was a fun project to work on together! (other than the hours of prompt engineering πŸ˜‚)
