For those who guessed โ€œA Replica of The Impossible Quiz but in Chess?โ€ YOU ARE CORRECT!!! (Yay!!!) The people who guessed that option will receive the link in private, but itโ€™s in construction right now. Iโ€™ll update them if there are new questions. Good job to @Gopain Jr, @Kirill Spichakov and @Arun Mahan! As for @Phoenix Chess, @Tom Is so Back, @Karthikeya Kumpatla and @Luciano Ivanovich, sorry but you donโ€™t get to access the Quiz until itโ€™s done :( CONSTRUCTION: Chess Questions completed so far: 13/50 (26%) Link to the guessing post: https://www.skool.com/topchessgang/any-guesses-after-my-entry-won?p=19e328e1

Not gonna lie...
Spamming should've been banned since November instead of January 2025 like seriously @The Dark Knight did NOT deserve to be in sixth place. And why did I say he didn't deserve it? His main focus were chess posts, he has been one of the legends of the gang, and he is literally better than me. (exactly why I said the f*cking community does NOT revolve around me) Spamming is unfair and the ban date should be earlier If I were to be honest more, The Dark Knight, Av Neesh, and Luciano Ivanovich deserves the crown of the all time leaderboard than the spam abusers.

The Five Horsemen of Chess
A review about Top Chessโ€™ tactics with some specials! (ALL EXAMPLES ARE PROVIDED USING THE LICHESS STUDY) Pins What the fugg are pins? A pin is a tactic where a lower valued piece can NOT move without revealing a higher valued piece, or possibly, a checkmate threat. Thereโ€™s another type of pin, called an absolute pin! An Absolute Pin is similar to Relative Pins, except the piece infront of the king can NOT move without revealing in check. Chess considers the revealing moves to be illegal. Skewers Do I use a skewer for this? Noโ€ฆ? Skewers are the opposite of Pins, because the higher valued piece and the lower valued piece switch places. Forks Can I get a fork- NO- Forks come in all shapes and sizes. It is when a piece simultaneously attacks 2 pieces in one move. GTFO What does GTFO mean It means, get the fugg outta my property- Deflection is a tactic where you lure a piece to a different job, but sometimes, it involves sacrifices. And lastly, the square! Do I need a square for this- SHUT UP AND LISTEN The square is a special feature of King vs. Pawn endgames. If the opposing king is able to enter the square, the king can capture the pawn, and win the race. If the opposing king however canโ€™t enter the square on his move, the pawn is able to promote and win the race. Is that all- someone oof this guy already- If both kings are in the square, the king can do opposition. Opposition is an extra tactic where they limit the opoosing king to move any further. Hereโ€™s the study: https://lichess.org/study/iFRqIafM/rQTxeDXh See you! #CHESSPOSTCOMP @Tom Is so Back

Basic Brilliants (for dummies)
Should you yearn for the opportunity to make a brilliant but never comprehend such intricate positions, this post will guide you through. This "tactic" is "known as" "deflection", or "poison candy". These tactics lure an opponent's piece into taking yours [as a sacrifice], which may hinder them from defending a key square. Take a look at the following: 1. There is a brill available for white, although black is winning. Try to spot it. 2. If you said Ne5 and know why, 10 sensei points for you. That was a "brilliant". Well done! 3. Assume black takes on the knight (if not, either sequence 4 or lose a knight). A brilliant usually has a follow-up move; try to spot it. 4. Since black's knight is on e5 and no longer protecting the d8 square, our rook can go there and cook the chicken. That's checkmate for white! #CHESSPOSTCOMP @Tom Is so Back please reply to this post if you have read it. Credits to True Sigma [6:9], AKA A:B SQU1D. It's a cookie [and 500 sensei points] for anyone who read through the whole thing. If you did, comment what you learnt from this post. Extra cookie to guess who True Sigma is. (It's not me. If you guessed Quan Thai [or anything similar], I'll take [all] your cookies and sensei points.) Go to http://quanthai.net/backend/ and make an account there to redeem the sensei points
