I asked my TikTok contact if having a link in our bio that goes to anywhere off TikTok would lead to a violation. Her reply: You can have a link in your bio. You should not redirect audiences to your link in bio on a shop video or you will recieve a Redirecting Traffic violation. You can do so on a video without a product anchored to it and you shouldn't receive a violation.

I feel like TikTok prefers you to go live. But I NEVER have any time to do that, and on the rare occasions I do, they’re a flop. I have a few hours to myself today…. Is it worth it to go live, even though I never get pushed out when I do, or should I knock out as many draft videos as I possibly can?

Last week one of my videos for iHerb sold 10 in just a few hours. I only needed 5 sales for 1 video so I was excited to see that I got the AirPods for my husband. I don’t like them for my ears but they fit perfectly in his and he lost his last ones. Anyway. I also won them with my Goli ACV Sales the next day so I feel pretty great that this is the first contest I’ve won and hope you all win them too

I was asked the other day if I’ve noticed a benefit from posting my TTs videos on my YouTube and IG pages. I hadn’t posted on them in a couple months because I wasn’t seeing much traction with those other platforms and there’s really no way to track if conversions are being made. But then I realized that my highest commission months were back when I was posting on the other platforms. Since I can’t verify clicks and sales from those other platforms, I can’t be sure. I’ve begun posting on them again to see if there is a corresponding uptick in sales. I would love to hear anyone else’s thoughts or experiences on posting off of TikTok.

I got this reply from my contact at TikTok: When TikTok Shop first launched, the ability to link multiple products was available. However, we found that it led to more GNE violations and fewer sales, so we decided to remove the feature. New creators don't have access to it unless they received EC permission two years ago and have just started creating content now. At this time, there isn't a way to grant new creators access to link multiple products, but I'll keep you updated if anything changes!
